Thanks a lot for the feedback! The main concerns seem to be that text is too fast to read and that the change of controls from the mouse to the keyboard is a bit confusing, since it's not stated ingame.

As soon as we have time for it, we'll address these issues, right now we're still trying to be functional humans again :)

Just tried it, it's really cool! An awesome intro, cool artstyle and a very nice message in the end. Great job!

The art and music in this one are really nice. I do have one minor complaint - when I played it, the ending cutscene ended before I could see what triggered it. I had to play through it again to see what the cat saw. It's pretty short, but it gets the message across nicely.

Edit: How come there's no rating category for audio?

Hi @mao, thanks for the feedback :) sorry you couldn't see what the cat saw the first time, but I'm glad you liked it enough to play it twice haha.

We decided not to enter the audio category because ours is not original, we downloaded it from free sound banks.

The mood is nice, and I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the second part of the game. Very cute. One bit of criticism I have is that collecting the memories leaves you going back and forth across areas you've already seen, which felt a little dull. Maybe some moving obstacles and a linear path could've helped liven it up?

Either way, this was a nice entry. Good work!

the art and the mood are very palpable ... i mean, i am really enjoying that soundtrack, with the birds and all, you have a very nice work in there ... the movement perhaps could be a bit more dynamic in the future, it feels a bit weird because after a while I feel you have a tendency to just keep the mouse button pressed at all times and that can be tiring

Graphics very cool. Control switch from mouse click to wasd needs a hint or please not do that. Spirit phase can be played with wasd as well, switching controls makes it confusing. Also I did not understand game, maybe you should show texts a little bit longer.

I thought this was a really well done game in all. The only problem I had was once I returned to being a cat, all the dialogue went by so fast that I couldn't understand the ending. With a little work, you've got a fine game on your hands!

Interesting game with an important message at the end.
Just like @despdair I have been a little disoriented by the control switch from mouse to keyboard arrows.

Spirit section has a nice graphic. Body section is nice too but a little less consistent.

Gameplay is quite basic for now but I see possibilities for an extended version :-)

I really like the graphics. Great use of pixel art. In some way, the idea behind the game reminds me of Ghost Trick, which i loved it. Good luck in yours future projects, you have plenty talent.

Love kittens!

It was amazing when the colors of the world returned and the cute kitty woke up. Also, the art really added to the atmosphere and I like it so much.

The animation of the kitty might look a little clumsy, still cute anyway. XD

You should really be proud of your game! The music and art had a huge impact, and that little story message is really cool!And of course you managed to buy me with those cute cats (I really love them <3!)

Loved this little narrative and the purrfect puns you put in. I felt some of the text went fast, it bugged me that I could not read them. Music and atmosphere was amazing and aided in the story telling. Graphics were amazing too.

You should consider playing other entries in jam and leaving youe feedback to them. It will come back as more ratings and feedback for your game. Hope this helps, have a good day.

A nice relaxing game. I love the "trees" in the background and generally the art style. You already have most of the assets to expand this to a decent (and funny) platformer.

I think the story was nice.

Verry pretty game :) Very athmospheric (is that a correct term for a game ? I don't really know :/)

I missed some text at the end, as it dissapeared because I advanced too fast (but it seems as I read the comments that other people aready told you that ^^)

But yeah. It's about pets. And it's great :)

Nice game! Love the choice of audio (I was amazed at first before realizing you didn't make it, thanks for being honest and not including it in the results). Very cute art and love the Schrödinger's cat reference. Good job on this one :)

THIS ART IS SO FANTASTIC! I love pixel art, and you guys have managed to make it both cute and beautiful -- well done! The music was also really calming and peaceful, and the whole thing flowed together really nicely. I agree about the text moving too fast, but overall I think it came together really well. Nice work!

The atmosphere in this game is palpable, and the art is gorgeous. I really like the idea you're going for. If I could make a few suggestions: I found the memories surprisingly difficult to gather, since there's not much of a path to follow between them: I just kind of picked a direction and moved until I found the next memory or hit a wall. I moved right past the first one a few times since it blended in with the spikes a little.
