ssdd.gif sasa.gif All this little guy wants in life is a sandwich, but it's not gonna be easy!

Unfortunately, we were trying to make this work till the very last minute, so we didn't get all the content we wanted, such as growing your own vegetables and making your own cheese, and cutting trees doesn't serve a purpose as well. So if your're wondering why cheese is found in the desert, just pretend it's special tasty desert cheese.

What a cute game! i loved the music, so relaxing, and was so happy to collect my little piece of grass and wood
first time i ran out of bamboo, don't know how? but the second time i was able to make a sandwish !! just couldn't eat it, which is sad :^( but i had a lovely time and like everything about your game, i hope you get more rating, you desserve it. great work !

I made the sandwich then nothing happened. It is kinda anticlimactic. But i liked the cute graphics and the simple crafting system you created for the game so overall this was a fun experience. Thank you for the game!

Your color palette is crazy. I managed to get a sandwich but that didn't trigger any end screen. Coming soon or was I supposed to do something else ? Anyway great little game, thank you for making it ! How come you guys have so little ratings ? You should definitely play rate others games to get some visibility. More people should play your game !

Simple but fun and enjoyble; with the features that you want to implement, it will turn in to a very good little game!
(We also created a game based on crafting, and we too didn't complete it in time, so i know how that feels).

@mrerdalural We ran out of time, for the end screen, I'm considering doing a quick update with just a simple black screen saying congrats to let the play know its over, but I'm worried it might be too much too add post LD.

@ferdi I plan to play a bunch this weekend, I'm just a little to tired after work during the week haha, maybe might play some during my lunch break!

Omg, this game is so cute and relaxing... Collecting is well polished and surprisingly satisfying, the other bioms where a nice suprise... Sandwich tasted great :D ( if i could eat it : P )

Small, simple, completed and well done game ^^

@benjo-games I'll need to try yours out later! I spent so long trying to get the systems in place that I left the item/recipe creation towards the last hour which was a.... mistake haha.

Amazingly cute graphics with an interesting pastel-like palette! The main character is especially cute. The music is cool too, it's very simple but it goes well with the game. The collecting is well polished, it's satisfying to take everything, and it's cool that nothing takes more than two hits to be gathered. Too bad you didn't have time to make an end screen, I'd argue that it's totally legit to add it now if you want. Congratulations!

Great visuals! I love the take on the theme. I unfortunately reached a point where I had collected everything but couldn't make a knife, therefore I couldn't finish making the sandwich. What you managed to complete was very enjoyable, well done!

This game was super relaxing and fun to play! Although would have liked some kind of ending screen when I crafted the sandwich. Other than that, great game!

The visuals in this game are adorable, and the music is very nice, although it could have used a much longer loop, I think. Game worked just fine, although I was a bit disappointed that there was no acknowledgement of the sandwich at the end! In any case, good job!

I love the visual style of the game! I can see you put a lot of effort into getting the crafting & inventory system working nicely. With game jams it's hard to be able to polish things up to the point we'd like and still have time to get everything else done. But I guess that's the point of the challenge. :smile:
