It's an ok game, the safe area thing is kind of finicky and I had a fainted dude not be clickable, so that wasn't as fun :(.

Good simple idea, couldn't do much on the game though, however, nice sounds and visuals.

@abacus Thanks for playing! I'm really glad you liked it!

@nahuel-vazquez hahah thanks for playing! yes, they fight eacher other all the time

@osbooter Sorry for the not clickable one, it's fixed before the extra hour but probably after you played. Thanks for playing!

@danielcmcg Thanks man!! I'm glad you liked it, what do you mean you couldn't do much?

Great Idea, good visual effects and pixel art. Maybe I enjoyed it more if was more dynamic. More maps, less time, less objetives. But it's an overall good entry!
I love how the little people beat others xD

@nax-89 Thanks for playing! I wasn't really sure about the difficulity, maybe less time would've made it impossible to play. I'll try to fine tune it during the review month. Thanks again for your feedback! :D

Very cool! The concept is very original, and the gameplay is really nice. I loved how the "players" ran into each other to fight when they were not dragged into the lobby immediately. I would love to play a longer version with more features!

This was hilarious. Very unique concept and the graphics are fantastic. I never realized how stressful it was to revive all those players and repair the map before the next round. Great job! :)

Haha, I really like your idea! The execution maybe a bit simplistic, but everything works as it should. It's fun to be a man behind the scenes :)

@chocolat-endive Thanks a lot for playing it!! Yeah, programming the AI was a ton of fun and watching the hit each other too hahah. I'll see if I can add more features in the future!

@clemonades Thanks a lot for playing!! haha yeah IMO it ended up being a bit too hard haha, I needed some time for tweaking

@daria-toni Thanks a lot for playing! Yea I went for a safe approach since I was jamming alone, I wanted to finish so I took the least amount of features

I like the graphics and audio. It lacked a bit in gameplay, and it got boring relatively quick, but it is overall a pretty good entry.

@dib Thanks for playing and for the feedback! It did ended up with little amounf of features which could've made it boring for you. I'll love to hear some ideas if you have the time!

@s-yanik haha battle royale tycoon? Thanks for playing and I'm glad you liked it!

@artyom-volkov Thanks for playing!! I went for a safe approach making sure to finish, It ended up being as I expected but a bit featureless, any ideas on how to make it better are more than welcomed! :D

Really cool concept, and a great game too, the gameplay is a bit repetitive, but it's still fun

BTW, you might want to check the import settings on the sprite for the building, it's a bit blurry...

@pandanym Thanks for playing and noticing the AI! haha I loved working on that part

@ogelgames Thanks for playing! Yes, it ended up a bit repetitive I'll try to add more stuff when I got some time. And yes, I forgot to remove the AA, but it's too late to resubmit haha

Loved the concept and how the battle royale rules persisted in the time between matches (players fighting each other, the shrinking circle...)

Gameplay was interesting as well, although the click detection failed on several corpses and I couldn't finish in time.

Nice job!

hey @ithildin ! I'm really glad you liked it!. Yes I tried to do my best to make a simplistic version of the rules and add little details. If you pay attention there's always one guy who doesn't spawn randomly, he spawns in the middle of the circle, representing the winner of the previous match. Also the circle doesn't always closes in the same spot. Thanks a lot for playing!

Love the concept, reminds me of Viscera Cleanup Detail with the whole "you reset the game for other players" thing, very cool :) It was very relaxing but i do kinda wish you could hold down mouse to do things, my mouse is probably cursing me out for clicking it so much hahah. I also loved that players fought if they were close, very nice touch. All in all a pretty nice looking fun little entry :)

@monish-vyas Wow thanks a lot!! I'm really glad you liked it! I tried my best and ended up with a game I really liked, yet a bit featureless but hey!, It's a jam right? I want to update it a bit too during these weeks. Thanks for playing!

This concept is pure genius :') Although it seems like whenever a dead players spawns near a lobby entrance, it becomes non clickable :/ Other than that, given that you were by yourself, I'd say this is a successful jam for you :D

This is a pretty solid entry.

I wouldn't say that the game lacks features so much as progression and task variety. You may have been able to achieve some of that by adding some more dependent steps.

You already have some measure of progression when you revive players and then move them to the lobby. Maybe if you made another step or two? Like:

* Remove the weapon from the player
* Move the weapon back to the building, but only after its fixed

Using something like that you interconnect all the tasks and add a layer of strategy as to what should be done first. Also, a player with a weapon might go around destroying buildings, and a player without a weapon might go steal one from the nearest building.

Another possibility would be to force some adversity on the manager by requiring multiple players to be alive at once before they may be sent to the lobby. Maybe they have to return in squads. So you have to revive multiple players, separate them from killing each other, and direct them to the lobby all at the same time.

All of these suggestions would have taken more time, so this being a game jam where time is limited, they may not have been possible. However, it is fun to think about what might make this game a bit more dynamic and interesting to play.

That said, I still had fun, so the game is good as it is. I really enjoyed the sound track; it makes me want there to be a longer version of it so I don't get tired of it through repetition.

Thanks for sharing the game. It really is quite good.

@xenoxygene haha thanks!! I'm really glad you liked it!. Yes, being alone is a thing, but I mostly do it for the challenge and because I'm never sure how much time I'm going to have and I'd hate to leave someone hanging. I'd too say this was a sucesfull jam! :D

@thepelranthean Wow, that's some really elaborate feedback!! First of all, hugue thanks for taking such a long time writing all that, makes me want to implement it just to get back to you! haha.

As you say, yes there are always many things going on for me on weekends, that make me have little time, or at least not as much time as I'd like. I also have enough stress on my daily job to make my weekend stresfull so I take it with ease and aim for a safe approach, finishing is my gola. That's the reason why many of my ideas don't get to be implemented. I had some more features in mind which include:
+ AI having weapons and shooting each other
+ Lobyy was supposed to be some sort of pen, from which they could escape and the objective was to have them all trapped there
+ Resources to fix the buildings
+ More variety of buildings
+ Procedural island

Non of them made it to final product, I ended up cutting them in order to finish. I had lots of issues with the safe zone expansion system too, I wasn't really sure how to made it fun or challenging, so I went for the easiest system.

Again, thanks a lot for playing the game and give such great feedback, (I feel bad for the feedback I left in your game now, I'll try to improve it).

@webox No worries about your feedback; it was fine.

I had to play through your game a few times to get past "the player spawning next to the lobby and becoming unclickable" problem. While I was running through it, I just got a bunch of ideas about what could be improved.

I like each of your feature ideas. It's a pity that time limited what you were able to put in. You achieved a minimum viable product that communicates the basic idea of your game, so I can see how these other features would make it even better.

🎤 Webox
20. Oct 2019 · 02:50 UTC
@dimesto52 hey what do you mean? I'm not quite sure what happened to you. There's a rare bug where a guy spawns behind the lobby zone and becomes unclickable, are you talking about that bug?
YoungBlade
23. Oct 2019 · 20:31 UTC
@webox Not sure how rare that bug is - it seemed to happen to me a few times while I was trying to play. However, I was eventually able to beat it. Overall, a novel concept and an interesting interpretation of the theme. The controls were a bit buggy, but the AI was interesting (how the players kept attacking each other). Neat idea!

24. Oct 2019 · 12:43 UTC
@youngblade oh crap! I'm sorry it happened to you too. It's supposed to be fixed with the last patch I added before the deadline, the issue was that the lobbies were not ignoring raycast. I added all of them to a layer and ignored raycasting which I was sure fixed it. I'll take a look into it too se what can be the problem!
