Break The Loop by Meemog

[raw]
made by Meemog for Ludum Dare 47 (JAM)

A military drone gone rouge is forced to fight for his survival when his teleportation device malfunctions sending him into an infinite teleportation loop

Take control of his survival in the real world or choose to face the challenge of his twisted mind constantly running though a simulation of how he believes the fight may turn out (Warning his simulated reality is slightly full of bugs, probably because he's a malfunctioning robot and not because we didn't have time to fix them)

An arcade style top down shooter

WASD - Move

Mouse - Aim

Left click - Shoot

Right click - Melee

Took me a while to get the game going and loaded, but I enjoyed it. Enemies start spawning maybe a bit too quickly as you get farther, but the post-processing you did and the crunch of the SFX are very nice.

You really achived "juiciness" and user experience, was pretty fun to play. Pretty straight forward approach on a theme) can't really tell - i'm stuck. Anyways - good game!

Amazing and simple graphics. Post processing is very cool looking. Gameplay is fun and solid but feels like the difficulty becomes impossible at some point. But other than that, I enjoyed it.

I agree with the post above about the spawn where you quickly feels overwhelmed by enemies, maybe with a larger playing field, it would be better. Other than that, the game is pretty cool visually, has nice gameplay and I really like the music (even if it isn't being rated, I like the choice)

Its a fun game with nice music, but feel like the spawn rate/ difficulty ramps a bit too quickly and it would be nice to have more space to play around with/ maneuver.

The post-processing and particle effects add to the game a lot!
The control is a bit difficult, and the camera could be a bit more far out.

Simple but very polished game. Well done for all the player feedbacks (SFX, knockback, particles), they really make the "feeling" great. Well done!

I liked your take on the theme. The music was a bop! The particles were really cool and added a lot, and I like how the game had sound effects! Great work.

It was a simple but solid game. The concept was not that innovative or itnteresting but I enjoyed playing it for a bit but it became boring fast. The graphics are well done but there could be some more juice/pazzazz.
