You fall from your home in the clouds. Left stranded on a platform your only tool to get back home is a bag of seed, maybe if you tend to the seeds well enough it can help you reach back up to the clouds again.

There are many kinds of plants that you can cultivate, and they all have their own way they can help you reach new heights!

Cutting flowers from a plant gives you a new seed for that plant!

---Controls---

Keyboard: WASD to Move. Space to Jump and again for Jetpack. E To Interact. 1-9 to access Inventory. Z to zoom.

Controller: Left stick to move. A to Jump and again for Jetpack. X to interact: Y to zoom. Bumpers to access inventory.

Good fun, took me a while to figure out I needed to get to the markers though. Maybe they should be an arrow more on the screen?

Good for relaxing session in between the other more frantic games!

Your art is amazing, you choose great colors, and character is just lovely. Music is calm, but in a happy way, so it fits to the gameplay. I love especially "sponge trees", they are funny and have great sound effect. Well done, great entry :D

I love the art and the concept was really cool but I ran into a bug where if you cut the branch below yourself by mistake, you'll fall and then eventually teleport back up, but because there's nothing to stand on you can't replenish your jetpack and fix it, so you're just stuck falling in a loop. Other than that I had a lot of fun playing :) Especially loved the bouncy trees.

Beautiful art, great coding. I struggle in the end and end up to gove up for the seed after the pink bag u_u. But very well done entry. Good job !

I got really upset at the end! Ahah The seeds are a little far away. It makes the trip a little (too) laborious. And plants everywhere... What a mess I made! Good thing we're back where we fell:'D

It's funny to see our "garden" at the end. Glad I was able to finish it!

The graphics are extra pretty. Nice game, I had a great time. (so happy to have a jetpack <3)

This is so relaxing ! The graphics and the music and nice and fit well together. I couldn't figure how to tend to the pink seeds but i enjoyed the game ! the controls were a bit awkward and reminded me too much that i was playing a game (i was on a keyboard) Great job !

The character design is so cute, your game has a very nice aesthetic. The mechanics are also interesting so that you want to keep trying to think of new ways to complete the task, nice work :)

I love how the character moves and jumps/flys. You have to figure out first how it works but it was fun!

Beautiful game. Very relaxing. I had difficulties finding out what to do but I imagine it is part of the game figuring out.
Also I got stuck sometimes in the clouds for several seconds, and then the game unstuck me.
I couldn't figure out how exactly to obtain seeds, when I cut the plants I would not automatically get some.
Overall, nice game, I enjoyed playing it. Thanks for making this game.

Overall a very pleasant experience. The graphics and audio have a nice aesthetic, and the gameplay is soothing and relaxing. A lot of ways the player can softlock themself, but hey, no game's perfect! Especially no jam game :smile:

It was super chill, including the music, thanks for the experience! The various growing directions were a clever idea. Most of the time I just planted seeds and waited for the plant to grow in the right direction, then cut and retry if it didn’t. I understand you need to balance between randomness and predictability but sometimes it was a bit frustrating because I didn’t want to accept that I wasn’t fully in control.

Good thing that you can zoom out and contemplate your work! Here’s my final plant:

This game is beautiful & fun! And I could have played for a long long time (and did!). It was a little hard to aim the cutting and such using WASD while also using the arrow keys - I kept cutting the wrong thing. Would have been nice to maybe use the mouse for that. The different kinds of seeds were so interesting and creative. and the character was so lovely! Thanks for making such a fun game - definitely my favorite game so far this jam!

Ahh this is adorable! All the motion feels great and the graphics are truly wonderful, my only problem is that I have to use the numbers instead of scrolling to pick items, otherwise it'll skip the shears at the start (not sure if this is just my mouse though?)

I loved it, it's a great relaxing game to play. I just wish the jetpack canceled downward momentum like it does in most games; helps it feel better when you don't use it immediately after jumping.

Loved the pixel art, espeically the backgrounds. I got a bit stuck because I ended up above the seeds I was trying to collect, and couldn't grow down and it seems like I couldn't cut down either. When I eventually got them it was the plant that grows downwards! Other than that I really enjoyed the game, interesting and beautiful mechanic. Well done!

The art and the particle effects in the game are pretty good, I enjoyed the idea of creating my own path to get the goals. Pretty intuitive and killed a lot of time for me :).

Overall I liked your approach to the game theme. The idea of growing plants and shaping them is no dought smart and different. It is fun to play and the graphics create a nice mood. I would work a bit more on the UI.

Cute graphics and character design, love it. Had one or two bugs when the trees where moving together and the jumping ones made me furious but I had a lot of fun ^^ Good Work!

That was super cute and very well polished! The only thing I had trouble with was getting the downward plants to grow but it seems like other people got it to work so maybe I'm just bad. Anyway really good job!

Very relaxing and chill game! It feels nice to keep growing giant trees :D Art and music complemented each other so well. There are some bugs with the trees growing mechanism but that's about all I can nitpick. Superb entry!

Fascinating game, managed to complete the entire thing with some slight guessing on how the seeds grow. Took me a while to figure out that cutting flowers gave seeds so I wish that was made clear early on. Checkpoints were well implemented to the point where the game wasn't frustrating to play. Awesome job!

That was such a nice experience. Thank you for that. So many people, wow! Maybe I'm biased for making something similar, but I do like stuff like this. Where you can just get away for a while and have a good time. But still with goals and progression, of course. Nice touch with the zoomout. Forgot to put that in mine. Overall high scores from me!
