Symposium by Alan123

[raw]
made by Alan123 for Ludum Dare 45 (COMPO)

So this is basically an experiment in creating multimedia art for couch play. When you start the game there's nothing there. Paint tiles by moving the four colours around. Colours make music. Use WSAD, IJKL, arrow keys and numpad to control each player. Powerups mix things up along the way.

Probably appeals to small children and adults tripping off their heads. First go at this, didn't get to spend as much time on it as I'd have liked. It didn't really work out quite how I expected, but I never expected JavaScript and Synthesisers to be quite so much fun on the journey!

This would be awesome with online multiplayer - I sadly don't have enough (any) friends local to play it with, so just messed around. A cool concept. Like the modifiers, especially the colour bomb.

Well I could only get so much done by myself but I appreciate the concept. I always wanted to try making some freeform multimedia type of game so it's great to see one in action. It's a bit limited at the moment, I think giving players more movement options would help improve it (ie: applying jump physics and drawing arcs through the air, etc).

I also ran into a bug in which one of the cursors left the screen and suddenly started moving much faster than before.

I agree that more movement options would be great fun. I like the concept and it could be pretty trippy :D
