Mechanical Wizard by Prototyper

[raw]
made by Prototyper for Ludum Dare 45 (JAM)

Screen.jpg

WASD to move. Left mouse click to shoot, after you have found a weapon.

This was our second Ludum dare. This time we were a bit too ambitious with the graphics and kept the gameplay fairly simple. Its a small game and we may revisit it in the future to polish the graphics and game-play.

P.S. During the building we noticed that postprocess effects do not work in the build. We tried to fix them but were unable to.

Very impressed by the graphics! Is the game without sound or is it me? (my system). Although the game itself is simple on gameplay, it's enjoyable because of the robots graphics :) Some sound and a story/goal would do wonders to this game.

Very beautiful graphics and spooky atmosphere but it was hard to understand what I should do. Hope you'll do it better. So good c:

Great job on the graphics! Would have been good with some instructions but I got the hang of it after a few seconds. :)

Well done!

Your average survival shooter but the graphics are nice :)

I loved the graphics, they look very cool. A bit sad about having no sound though, that would have made it feel so much better! It was also a bit unclear at first what I was supposed to do.

It's fun and simple, could definitely use some audio though.

Well executed. The game would really be better with any sound effect, don't know if it's intended but like another commenter said.
Also, some kind of UI representing the cooldown/firerate of weapons would provide a better feel.

The game looks nice, but I missed the sound effects. Sounds make all the difference in the gaming experience. I imagine you invested more time in characters and other visual aspects, now with the game already published, it would be interesting to focus more on gameplay. Congratulations for the game!
