Hey ! thanks for the feedback !
It's simple, and explained in the "How to" tab, you must write "up" and "down" as you did with the spells to move up an down.
When you'll beat a fair number of enemies, you'll be able to store spells ;)
High degree of completion.
But It's also confused me that I can't move with the arrow at the beginning.
1. Buttons in menu aren't distinctive, first time I thought they are just text.
2. The beginning of the gameplay is a little bit hard.
Good game ;)
Thanks again !
I ended up with my nose on my keyboard because I can't write shock correctly and decided to memorize all the other spells first xD.
But i always thought a gameplay (typing to launch spell) like that would be cool but never went and tried to implement it, so I'm happy to see a good and working example on what you can do with it :)
I did have a bit of confusion with the UI feedback, so I'd recommend making it more obvious that something is currently being highlighted so people know it's clickable. It wasn't much of an issue, but good to iron out
Btw. my score is 6458

So first of all I love the difficulty curve of the game, you guys really manage to balance between "slow ennemy but writing all the stuff is long" and "fast ennemy but you just have to press keys". It's sooo well paced that I got caught really early and couldn't stop until I reached 5k points!
The art is well done, both visually (that animation on the robe <3) and the audio.
The concept is great, althought I have to say the relation to the theme is a bit far-fetched.
Kuddos to the team!
Main criticism would be having to click on the text box to memorise a spell was a bit un-intuitive for a typing game, I'd expect not to have to touch the mouse.
Otherwise great work!
The first version had a "instant cast" mechanic, but we thought it was weird to entirely suppress the "typing" experience. So we replaced it by "instant prompt" instead.
@almax
You are totally right. That's small details that we couldn't improve, due to a massive game breaking bug one hour before deadline...
@iak
Yeah... That would be sooooo cool, nah? :P
And thank you all for playing and your quality feedbacks !
