Fun idea, love the graphics! It seems a bit too easy to hide on the edge of the screen!

Controls are a bit clunky sometimes but overall, it's really nice and funny. Good job!

I like that you have made a store to it and they talk, it makes the game much more fun

Really lovely game ! I made it by a narrow margin :
![2019-10-08 16_52_26-Falling by dizzy_dalvin.png](///raw/ccf/21/z/28d24.png)

Pluses :
- Good controls and simple mechanic. Great idea to make the player rotate and lose control when hit
- Good game feel (slight screenshake)
- Funny and unexpected dialogues !
- Great graphics and music

Possible improvements :
- I might have missed something, but it did not feel like the falling hearts were healing me

Overall, great game !

@citsua I'm really happy to hear you say that! We wanted to make a game that was story based, but also wanted a game that was fun to play overall, so that's what Falling ended up being! Thanks for the comment!

@jlv That swordfish was willing to go the distance to get you!!! Thanks for the comment and feedback! The hearts only progress the story... We should have used another item since it's confusing...

@scott-steffes Thanks for the comment! Sometimes the objects on the screen get a bit too hectic, so we opted for a smaller amount of them. We'll defiantly keep that in mind though for next time!

@navrcl I'm glad you enjoyed it! A lot of the objects in the game are physics based, so having some clunky controls seems to come with it...

@evepto Thanks for the comment! We wanted to have a fun story that would explain why our main character was in the predicament he was!

@grangerer We're glad you liked it! We had plans to make it longer, but didn't have enough time to implement it all... Thanks for playing!!!

Really fun game, and nice pixel art!!
But maybe there should be something to prevent from hiding at the right and left edge of the screen? :)

@gamebuilder I'm glad you enjoyed the sprites and music! @saki-m worked hard on the sprites and @dizzy-dalvin was up until 3 am finishing the music!!!

@t-bo Glad you liked the art and obstacles! We all thought toilets were funny, but the gigantic hot dog was all @saki-m's idea

@savvy-community Thanks for the praise! Yeah, the corners were overlooked during production, so we'll keep that in mind for next time! Thanks for your constructive criticism!

I really like the starting of the game, a little bit clunky

First I would like to congratulate you. Pixel art and chiptune really hook me.
Now for the technical comments:
The story begins with a funny story line: "i cant believe my home blew up im stuck here with nothing falling to the earth". So we expect pieces of the house or things from the sky like planes or birds to appear, but they appear toilets and hot dogs. A little crazy, isn't it?
I really love pixel art, but be careful with the finish. Respecting the size of pixels in art generally makes your work cleaner and more beautiful. The soundtrack is very well composed. There is a small hiccup when the music goes loop (a quarter of a time). Beware of looping to avoid tripping. I missed SFX. They are sorely missed! The commands are simple, basic and quite satisfactory.

Congratulations again!

It's cool that you made a story with dialog and such! Good job!

@euler-moises Thanks for the comment! We planned to make the story more coherent at first, but decided that the theme was already weird enough that we mine as well have fun with every aspect of it. We'll keep in mind all of your points you brought up while we create our next game.

Loved the weird obstacles haha, really funny :) it's the kind of game I could totally play going in the subway or in small breaks. Nice job!

Very simple game, but very well executed. The dialogues are really funny and you did a good job with the art. I laughed so much when I first see the giant hot dog

I really like the dialogues and the art of the game!
I did feel the game-play was not really challenging, and the obstacles were appearing at very random places where you couldn't really dodge them. The boss fight was the only moment I felt I had some interaction with the game.
Overall I enjoyed it, it was short and sweet!
