1 and 0 terrible choose of controls, not everyone has numpad and in top row numbers they very far a part, have to use both hands to play.

@tacokhun, we didn't make it very clear that this is meant to be a coop experience. So we purposefully picked numbers far apart so the two players aren't hitting each other. The way it's coded, you actually have to use the top row of numbers - number pad input doesn't work. Thanks for playing!

Chilled game... Game that I did not understand lol. Cool soundtrack!

I see, so although I didn't have anyone to play coop with (because I have no friends, of course), I can see the way the game mechanics will rely on the interdependency of the players. It's a really relaxing game that allows you to go at your own pace--I really like that idea. I think some more gameplay to keep players busy between aborbing and growing then waiting for your bar to recharge again would go a long way, so it would keep the current mechanics from going stale. But I really enjoyed the experience! ;)

Interesting take on the theme. You really start with nothing. Cool game :) If you could influence the direction of the root / tree it would be cool :)

Hey well done on submitting a entry! Very chilled experience and was able to enjoy with my partner! The music added to the calm mood - interested to see what other kind of games you make.

Heyoo! Nice game! The concept really fitted into the theme! As others said, it was a pleasant experience overall. I disagree with @tacokhun in the topic of the controls. The fact that the player has to use both sides of the keyboard makes the experience even more symbolic, given the situation that you have to play with opposite sides of the hand / arms, which represents what is seen and unseen of a tree. It was a fun and different experience. Thanks to the team!

Fun + relaxing game, I feel like this could be made for the mobile to use whilst you're studying (Like that forest game which helps you study) It would be really cool, I got a problem where I lost in the game and I left it running and the music began glitching out

Really cool and chill. Unfortunately didnt have someone to play coop with, but I can see how that would make the mechaics much more interesting!

Nice game, great mechanic. I was actually kinda disappointed that it ended at some point, I was ready to make the biggest tree mankind has seen :P

Are those Lindenmayer trees? It was a nice game, just the sounds started getting a little distorted whenever I switched to grow after the second house became visible. After the game ended and I pressed quit I got another weird effect: the overlay got stuck and sound became something like a broken record where a second long clip got repeated endlessly. Other than that it was a pleasant experience watching the tree grow.

Ah just realized it was a co-op game. Now I get it. Love the mood/ambience and camera movement as tree grows bigger!

Nice relaxing game. I could see this being fleshed out into a more full game with stuff like hazards, so you'd need to collaborate more explicitly with your partner. This is a really good proof of concept, and I enjoyed playing it. Nice job.

A very relaxing experience, with soothing music, and no incentive to rush anything… a bit reminiscent of the games Flower or flOw. I would have liked the tree to outgrow the city and also reach that scary cave! But I guess you’d need to change the generating algorithm a bit for that.

It’s also cute that you make games together as a couple! We do the same but have never designed a co-op game, we should definitely try this next time.
