Fruits are all is my first game for a Ludum Dare Jam. In the game, you are Liz, a little square girl that is camping for collect fruits in the forest, but the place is full of scorpions and ghosts that steal your fruits. - Spending fruits you can get itens(actually, the single item that you can get is a big hummer) - You can spend fruits going to tent and interacting with it. - To attack, you need to unlock the big hummer(it price is 65 fruits). - Get 500 fruits to win the game.!

Controls: - Jump: Z/W(Keyboard) and Cross/A(Gamepad) - Attack: X/K(Keyboard and Cricle/B(Gamepad) - Interact: C/L(Keyboard) and Square/X(Gamepad) - Move: Arrow keys/A-D(Keyboard) and D-Pad

Devlog: 1. 1.0.0.0: - First version of game 2. 1.0.0.1: - Some bug corrections; 3. 1.0.1.0: - Some bug corrections; - decrease of hummer prize (100 fruits to 65); 4. 1.0.2.1: - Decreased fruits stolen by monsters. - Fixed a bug on interaction with tent. 5. 1.0.2.2: - More bug fixes; 6. 1.0.3.0; - Improved attack, now you can attack while moving or jumping.

funny little game. I was wondering, if the hammer the only item you can get?
Is there anything i can do with the fruits after I got the hammer? besides it also is your health of course ...

@wr4thon unfortunatelly, the hammer is the only item you can buy in this version, i planned other items like shurikens and bombs, but i don't had time to program it. In a future pos-jam version i will add more items.

Congrats on your first LD game and I hope you enjoyed the experience. While there is not too much to do, it was still fun to play around with. Nice work :slight_smile:

Simple, but kind of fun game. The enemies did seem to get more plentiful as the game went on, so the difficulty curve works. The enemies were a little spazzy though. I think this game could benefit from a slightly bigger view range.

The pop-up window is a bit awkward for interactions. A simple text box would be smoother. Even a simple image that has premade text works fine in a pinch.

While there isn't a large variety of graphics, what you have made is very cute. You really should post a screenshot in the LD page here, so more people will want to play your game. Great job for your first LD!

Short but fun game. No audio is the downside.

The graphics while square-y are really amazing! I like how you worked with windows to show text, I guess it's you exploring a new engine for this Ludum Dare, or ran out of time, but congrats! Those fruits drop in heaps though so I'm glad there was a fun run around aspect, instead of waiting years to get to 500!
