This game is on another level.

Great humor that doesn't pull punches, though it would've been greater if the writing was tidied up a bit (I take it you're not a native English speaker). Also: there is no value fighting people again if you know the perfect route to their defeat; checkpoints would've been great. Well done!

@king-kujito Yeap, I am not a native speaker. A lot of fun and jokes without grammar. Moreover, there is a value fighting ppl to unlock different endings :D

i double the suggestion about checkpoints. also had no idea that there were multiple endings and just clicked through the whole game 3 times to beat the fat one i got stuck with :)

Wow, this is really cool! So many pokemon jokes. Both hilarious and professional looking graphics. I especially liked the design of the monsters! I agree that the grammar could be polished since it was tough to understand sometimes, but it also made it a little funnier. Pokemon was good about translating to english, but not every JRPG is. Best submission I've seen so far!

A fun idea for sure to fight without the monsters : D Really liking the graphics too!

Really funny visuals and dialogue! Would benefit from some post-jam polish like some battle transitions and text typing animations to really sell the pokemon feel (and grammar as other people have mentioned).

Overall though, hilarious game!

Your graphics are nice, but the game is a direct rip of Pokemon and it is not original at all, except for adding curse words in. The goal of Ludum Dare is to be creative, maybe next time you could try something more original!

The art is so clean, the game is funny too. I like it.

The art is fantastic and the idea is great. The humour felt a little too edgy for the sake of it but some lines were good. The music did a really good job of emulating a pokemon style battle music without feeling like a straight rip off, which was really cool.

Game has great graphics and funny dialogs. I could not find funny jokes about fat mans but overall it was pretty fun. Also i love how you adopted rpg battle gameplay to this small project. Again. Graphics is GREAT.
