You should change Source code to HTML-5.

I love that you spawn without clothes.
But there are some bugs:
-You can climb EVERY wall by going into it and jumping
-You can't jump with up arrow-key

But a pretty interesting idea!

Found it pretty hard to actually attack with the sword so reverted to killing by jumping on them all. I like that they have variety in colour too :)
A quick note. Is there no sound? I couldn't hear any. If there isn't then you should untick the "audio" category so you don't get marked down. Nice!

What do you mean by changing the Source code to HTML-5? and how?

I did not have time for music unfortunately, I had planned to do that but yeah...

Hi! Just played your game. I think the graphics are really cute and the makings of a fun game are here!

A little bit of feedback: About 3 different times I died immediately to a spawning slime from above. This could be easily fixed by spawning the player on a lower platform. Also a couple of times the sword was on a platform out of my reach that I couldn't get (jump wasn't working for me.)

That said I really liked the graphics you had going, and it reminded me a bit of Super Crate Box. Congrats on making the game!

An easy improvement is to add simple sfx for jump and stomp

not a bad first game, charmingly jank (that's a good thing sometimes) and very similar to the old flash games on newgrounds. it's simple but functional and the slime art is the best (so derpy), it put a smile on my face. here's hoping that you learned a lot and your next game will be even better (and hopefully just as derpy). small criticisms though, i'm not a sound guy either but sound effects help alot and maybe next time you can get others to help you with that (check discord communities). aslo it seems you wanted to allow the player to jump on the slime but then added the sword, the sword is cool and all but the problem is it takes like 4 hits to kill a slime with a sword and only one hit to kill a slime if you jump on it, it should definately be the other way around. otherwise a cool game.

Quite good first game ;)
Fit literally the theme ^^
Just you should had something to the swinging because it has no real advantage against jumping on mobs ^^

Good luck for next LD !

The game is simple but has the basics to be fun to play and it fits the theme. The same for graphics, which have the advantage of being rather homogeneous. Some sound effects are missing to get a whole. Cool game :D

Would really benefit from some music / sfx. Good job for a solo jam game!

I think the main improvement I would suggest for this would be some type of unique mechanic to make the game more interesting to play? Maybe another suggestion would be having a larger area to play through and some goal to get through.

Good luck for next Ludum Dare!

Fun game! Could have benefitted from even some very simple sound effects. Sometimes I would get killed by a slime even after I had killed it. Good job!
