What to do?

You are stuck in a room. No doors, no windows. You have to escape but how? There's nothing in here. Everything is just black and white and it's impossible to get out. It turns out that the room reacts to your actions. You can clap your hands or do other things. Empty room.gif

For example if you stomp the flour a wall will extend revealing a brown stick. There's not much to it, but again. Try poking it around or lift it, or hit it. Try doing something to make it work. Webp.net-gifmaker (13).gif

Fun puzzle. You misspelled difficult at the end though. Good Job!

An alright game, just a bit too much trial and error imo.

It turned out to be I was trying to click everything I can...But the idea of the gameplay is really great!

short and sweet simplistic little puzzler, here it does kinda come down to trial and error but i definitely am a fan of the concept behind it! something about games that throw you in a very confined and minimal space that you have to work with and bring out complexity from is rather attractive to me, and i can see a more fleshed out and polished game under that premise being very enjoyable

This was really atmospheric. I really liked how abstract a lot of the interactions were. Great job!

Nice art and sound design. I like exploration based games with little direction like this

Quite a materialistic ending hahaha But hey! I managed to escape! Usually this kind of games just keep me locked down forever until I give up and go check a tutorial, so yeah! Good level design, and good job! Really entertaining :D

Interesting mood. I didn't understand the puzzles, but I completed it by just clicking everything.

I think it would be a little bit more user-friendly if maybe instead of clicking each thing you can press numbers. I don't know how many abilities you have in the game but if its less than 10 then that would be nice. Like, you could put "Clap" and a #1 right below so the player knows. Other than that, interesting puzzle that kept me engaged

I would like to see more of the plot here, but I really like the game! The unique idea (remiding me of how actions in irl role-playing games) and pleasant soundtrack.

Nice game you have there! Besides the graphics been very simple the art style was very nice and fit very well the game, the only thing I think it lacked was a bit more width in the walking sideways animation, but still, for a 48 hours solo project it was very nice. Nice approach to the theme!

This was pretty interesting. I liked the sequence of events, but it took me *way* too long to realize I could walk. Outside of that, I feel like this fell into the classic point-and-click trap of "click everything until something works." Maybe some sort of signposting could've helped with that a little bit? There also were a lot of actions that had no effects or animations, and the clock sound got old pretty fast.

On the whole I did enjoy myself, though, and I think this was a pretty nice entry. Good work!

Cool game.
It would be interesting if every action does something:
You could add multiple endings;...

Awesome atmosphere. I didn't notice button on the left at first, so I was looking for key to press on keyboard, but after finding it, the game was a lot of fun.

I'm not sure if ending I had was the only possible, would be cool to add some branching paths.

Great entry, cheers!

Its not a bad game, although there should be some clues on what to do instead of just trial and error, the escape is kind of anti-climatic but its good anyways

keep up the good work

Cool idea, the game lacks some polish. I'd like to see some more interaction trees and animations when choosing different options. Also some tutorial wood be good. I liked the ending.

I really enjoyed the game and i am glad i managed to escape in the end. Clever level design and the mood it creates :) Start with nothing taken by the word!

Cool concept! I would like to see this idea expanded into a full game with a lot more complexity and interactions.

I like how you added a message to take away from with this game. A cool spin on the "Start With Nothing" theme. The puzzles were less mind games and more trying everything until something works for me, except for the last one. I really liked how you finish the game. Audio was also nice, helped me to get lost in the game world.

Interesting puzzle, although the interactions felt a bit random and the way to win seems to be to test all interactions until something happens.

Enjoyed the puzzle and lack of instructions. Solid idea.

13. Oct 2019 · 18:15 UTC
Nice mood, and I do like the lack of instructions even though it was challenging to figure out what was happening. Ultimately I was just pressing every option until things happened, but I got to a point where I was stuck and couldn't figure out how to finish it. The minimalist graphics are really nice however and I still really like the concept. Nice game.

Nice game, but there was no real consequence between the action (e.g. clap, shake a stick) and their outcome (a door is opened).
I think more connection and logic will make a gameplay that is more diverse than "try all options", and will lead to more satistying 'aha' moments when players solve the puzzles.

The mood and underlying message were spot-on. Liked the graphics and your animations. The gameplay was a bit lacking since I pretty much just tried every possible input and managed to escape. Surely above average. Good job!

Interesting little puzzle game, I liked how abstract and slightly bizarre all the options were, meaningless choices in a game usually are boring but not in this case imo. I would have liked more sfx though. Still, good job!

I'm glad the game asked for consent first:

Interesting puzzle, and liked the graphics. The background music I found a bit annoying... But the game is solid, and fits the theme really well. Good job!

I liked this very much. It felt like I was watching and performing an experimental art performance at the same time.

Complete with the fact that I'm not quite sure what to make of the message at the end. Brilliant

As my peers, I find it's a bit on the "trial and error" side, but the concept is really good and I really wanted to push until the ending! Congrats :)

Nice little puzzle game! I see the main idea is to poke around, to try different combination. And I did it, first try, nothing in the way, beat the game! Congrats on your great work!

Gameplay wise, I don't have much else to add from what others have said. The music was relaxing though, and I enjoyed the pixel art! The ending quote was nice too!

An interesting little puzzle game, and fun to play. A bit easy. I liked that it's specifically clapping twice that turns the lights on and off :stuck_out_tongue:

somehow this feels a bit like "the Cube" movies ... this has an unsettling vibe to it which is very authentic and makes you curious about it .. I love the weirdness in this puzzle.

Oh damn! These items really did change everything.

I like how many interactions were allowed in this simple game. Rotating the stick many a ways was fun lol. Though I'm not not if the direction mattered, for the glow.

But I felt like I hit a big brain moment when I decided to clap twice. (That was **hilarious** :joy: )

From the description alone I expected a little to become frustrated but surprisingly I wasn't! Figuring out what to do was a lot of fun and the large pixels inspired my imagination :) Also thanks for the help when I pressed every button on my keyboard (but didn't click the icon on screen) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2u3BIVgcKdQ

A cute little Escpae Room puzzle game.
Simplistic Graphics and streamlined progress.

I liked the little ticking noise and the amount of possibilites. Unfortunately many of the actions are felt as they would do nothing. At least some indication of "nothing happend" or so would be cool.
Some more animations like that "Raise Stick" would also be very nice.

But overall a really cool game. I liked it
