* DEVELOPMENT NOTES*
This is a game jam game... software is prototype quality, but it works! There will probably be minor bugs. We opted out of the "Graphics category" because we used some base assets to start the game as well textures built into unreal engine. Most of the assets have been changed beyond recognition except for some of textures. Some sound assets were used for sound fx, however they have been cut up, changed, pitched and modified beyond recognition. Music is all original. If you find issues or have questions, feel free to contact us: info at virtuaworlds.io.
* KNOWN ISSUES *
-Sometimes the bucket flies into the air, but we reduced it and we're pretty sure this is a feature now because its kind of fun.
-Sometimes the background music doesn't stop when the game over music plays. (much more rare now)
-Performance could be better, but this is basically it for the game jam version.
-Black textures on some low spec machines (still playable)

Great job, guys!
And it is very satisfying to feed the devil ! :D
The only little criticisms, that I can make is that the UI was too "clean" for the art style, I think that a more pixelated one would fit better. And I found the game a little too easy at the beginning, it takes time to get harder, so I think that the difficulty should kick in sooner.
Overall, very nice work !
My score:

The gameplay is simple, but weirdly meditative. Played a couple of times with enjoyment.
@aj-jones thanks for the feedback. those are things we're looking to address with a post jam patch very soon. we're also planning a commercial version with expanded features and gameplay.
@brylamare @ROBOWARRIOR1982 thanks for playing guys. we're fairly new to game dev, and it was challenging to even fit in this much gameplay haha. however, we're planning a commercial version with expanded features and gameplay.
@Palvel thanks for the feedback. it's skippable with the mouse, but we ran out of time for everything else haha. we'll be implenting easier skip button or shortening it in a future commercial version.
@wavewava thanks for playing and glad you liked it. that's weird about the flashing... so the whole screen was flashing white? if so, what is your CPU, GPU and OS. we'll look into it!
@CreamyBacon2 @edalbung thanks for the feedback. those were things that we didn't have enough time to tweak, however we're planning a commercial version with expanded features and gameplay.
@hoseccan @krakadushka @adriankrawczyk @thebreakfast thank you so much for the kind words. it means alot and makes it worth not sleeping for the last 2 days! We're planning a commercial version with expanded features and gameplay.
This game is so weird yet wonderful!
Was playing on a Win 10 OS, as suggested. Here are my CPU and GPU:

Hope this helps!
If you want to know the timestamp of when your game was played you can see it in this spreadsheet:

And then look in my latest videos and find your game being play (after the current stream ends)

However all is well done with a solid mechanics. The main gameplay is clever, easy to learn, hard to master. I am a big fan of PS1 and I liked your attempt so as to create something similar. Neat. Thank you for your feedback ++
Fantastic! Really felt like a PSX era artifact. The menu was a great touch.
Loved how over the top the audio and VFX were!
@geckoo1337 @eran-haas Thank you!
