Turns out I thought the checkpoint was a sword lol\nYou managed to put in a boss fight, that's a huge deal. Common enemies aren't very forgiving, but the boss is easier, and actually very fun! Nice art and music as well. Congratulations!\n(By the way, there's an issue with the web version where weird vertical lines keep popping up. You could have given arrow keys as input too. The graphics is amazing and the gameplay is good. Nice work on the health and drop systems, and the inclusion of a well-implemented boss fight was really cool to see for a LD game! Graphics are really good, and the animations lend themselves well to the overall style. The music does also fit with the overall style, but I felt that it was a bit too repetitive.
