Very floaty, the name makes perfect sense. Its a fun quick game if you want to try to accumulate as much stuff from nothing in two minutes. Perfect if you don't have a lot of time but want to challenge yourself, because 500 is very difficult.

At the beginning I hated how floaty the game felt, then I got used to it, and actually really liked it! I kinda suck so I couldn't beat it :P, but pretty solid, especially for 5 hours!

Good idea, and kind of artistic. It may need to pause and display the score between each play

Clean and concise game. The game is very floaty, especially when you're small, meaning the player mostly just moves in a single direction the entire game. Tighter controls would be better, to encourage more purposeful movement. The idea of building up your big red floaty is cool, and seeing it branch off into different colors is satisfying. I'd recommend doubling down on the artistic part of the game by making those features more prominent: larger and longer branches (just include more balls on the map) and more varying colors. I also found it oddly static, so making some of them jiggle or the entire thing rotate might be pretty.

Wow, you are completely right, that was pretty tough! I don't particularly like the controls :( cause I feel like I have no skill haha. Makes sense.

I agree with @erebus , for a 5 hour game you have a fun game with a pretty unique mechanic. Since the level is procedural and the game is timed, I figured the optimal strategy was to basically draw a spiral with my path, collecting as much as I could. So with the controls (which work brilliantly btw), it was like a very delicate balancing act of keeping to the spiral, while doing minute adjustments if there happened to be bigger clusters nearby. If you do veer off the path, it can be hard to correct as you have to maintain a mental map of the spiral you've created. Actually the more I type about it the more I enjoy the game. It really is a solid core game mechanic and you've balanced it incredibly considering I had like 2 secs left to go from a good run.

You start with nothing and collect dots. Its a small game, where you have to remember where the dots are you want to collect. Simple, but effective.I liked it :) The game mechanics are definitly working for me.

Indeed our games share a lot of similarities !
You become more and more powerful and it even creates a nice visual pattern, which is different on each game you play, that's so cool !
Maybe the 500 dots to win is a bit high ? Did you ever reached that score yourself ?
You actually made a fun game in 5 hours, good job :)

@4quet I reach 500 in about 30% of runs. It is difficult and you need to understand how dot spawning works and get used very well to the controls. I don't like making easy games .

It's amazing that you could come up with that idea and execute it with 5 hours. In the description you say that some things might not work but the way I see it everything is working fine! As a comment, when I saw your post all the balls were so close that it looked so satisfactory to just run around gathering balls and making it like a quick escalating Katamari, but with the time limit, it breaks it a little bit, just my opinion :) The idea is great and for doing it in 5 hours I salute you bro!

I liked the controls a lot, very different! It's very hard but I don't really mind that, as long as it's humanly possible to get to 500 haha! Minimalist design was nice, didn't really feel too much of a need for a soundtrack, although maybe a droning synth would've been cool or something. Could imagine a retro arcade style being a good look for the visual style. Great compo entry! :)

Fun little game! Not bad for 5 hours of work. A pause between runs to display the score would have been nice.

nice relaxing game! I first thought the superior strategy was going to be floating in one direction but I was wrong after a few tries. The farthest I got was about 300. Nice game!
