Wowie, this game was pretty funny! It was simple, quirky and definitely in theme! Loved it!

Really fun game. Sometimes I'D like to read the text faster, but the small breaks are important for the mood of the game I think :)

I enjoyed it.
It took times for me to get my first lost hope.

Great innovation there. It made me read for a while. You can add more humor to it. Then it will make more people to stay and read. Over all a great game but i'm not sure if it fits the theme.

Great innovation and game design. This took clicker games to a whole new level. Needless to say, I loved it. Good job :)

strange for clicker to spend value to nothing)

Loved the cool concept! It's very unique. I'd love to see a Post-LD game like this with some kind of progression.

Funny game! A few improvements I might suggest:
- Either remove the typewriter effect, or have it finish instantly with a click.
- With the longer sentences, sometimes word wrap would split a word, and it looks funny.
- Order the inventory so that items you can do something with are at the top.
Despite this I found myself clicking for quite a while! Well written, entertaining, and I think a good use of the theme!

+1 for the faster text - otherwise pretty cool. :) Much potential for further development.

Woooah, your game is pretty similar to mine in some ways!!!!
Really nice! I just think you should add some sound to it.

It's like A Dark Room but rude.
Like everyone else said, I wish the text was faster, but it's still pretty compelling to see what else you'll find.
Is there an end state to it? I got the shop and bought and drank a bunch of beer, but then it seemed to stop. Did I miss anything?

To popular request I update a version with skippable text.
@jelch thanks for your feedbacks, in the new version I implemented some of them.
@dovakla For now there isn't more but I'm planning to add more content in the future

Nice, fun, and slightly "meta" take on the clicker genre! I enjoyed it up until the point where I could drink beer -- after which I wasn't sure what to do. It would be great to have more stuff going on in a post-compo version! For now, a minor suggestion would be to center-align the item list, as it currently looks funny and leaves a lot of empty space if one switches to full screen (and without the full screen, it's a bit annoying to scroll up and down as the list grows longer):

@xlomid Thanks for your feedback. I uploaded a new version that fixes the fullscreen layout problem and also adds... a dwarf.

Nice work, reminds me of the beginnings of some of my favorite clicker games... A Dark Room and Universal Paperclips. Made me hope it was going somewhere, but this is a game jam, and I liked the slow addition of the gold and store. I've always liked the undefined and expanding feature set these games have. A little slow to get moving with the rocks and gold!

Great entry! The clicker genre seems like a perfect fit for the theme. I was afraid at first the text would just loop without anything happening, but there was a a reward after all!

It was funny and I managed to get a crazy ammount of rubber ducks so yeah, I liked it. Good job!

Really nice catch on the theme and with a nice implementation. I guess it only lacked more content, but due to the time constraint its understandable.

Good job!

An interesting little clicker game. The beginning was quite amusing and the things found were funny as well. Didn't seem to do much after the dwarf (which was a fun addition). Good luck on future development!

I liked the humor in the game. It was a while before I decided to get a whole lot of beer, and got a dwarf. This could make a fun mobile game. Good job!

Cool text flow effect. Game reminds me a bit of that old don't press the button flash game with all the attitude from the button lol, love the humor. "You hit the rock with your bare hands - You found a lot of pain". Should have guessed :p Perhaps an upgrade that lets you search more quickly would be cool. I like the system of currency with the rocks that you have to then forge through various strange stages into something valuable.
