I found the choice of the name very attractive avec funny (concidering the subject), however it doesn't prepare to a platforming game ! The game itself is fun and well managed, but sadly i couldn't find the "stuck in the loop" effect.. nice job anyway !

Solid game! The level design was definitely the strongest point. The controls felt a bit floaty unfortunately so it was hard to navigate at times.

Great game! The hoop mechanic is great, took me a little while to realise I could...eat...consume(?) the bunnies after trapping them. Movement was a little hard to navigate at times but I loved the platforming despite that. Well done!

Nice job here. It's a classic platform game, I like the level designs, the art and specially how bunnies get stuck on the hoops.

Platformer game executed well. I wish the character was a little bit less floaty, but that made it able to just run forward and spam jump while dodging occasionally.

I kept wanting to jump less than the full jump height as you often can in games like this.
A solid game nevertheless.

Nice, solid platform game. The best thing to add to it would be a lower-level jump from tapping space. I really love the pixel art and the 'stuck in a hoop' themeing made me laugh. :)

The biggest piece of feedback I have is to make the player have the option to make smaller haps by releasing the jump button early. There were a lot of times where my jump threw me directly into an unavoidable projectile because I couldn't drop early. The artwork was charming, and I liked the sound effects. Nice job!

Thanks for the feedback!

You are all so right! I totally forgot to implemt the Jump that way! Heh...
Wouldn't be that hard, it shows how **EASY** it is to forget something.

Good game with an interesting take on the theme but possibly some way to regain health might be useful.

Very nice game, I very much liked the art, I found it very charming (especially the sun) the gameplay was pretty fun and had solid mechanics, though I did find grabbing some of the coins especially ones over pits very awkward to grab, but other than that it's a very fun game

Liked the graphics a lot. The platforming was pretty good with some room for improvement as others have mentioned. Interesting take on the theme too! Good job.

Nice game! And thanks for the linux export 😁 I've heard it can be fiddly on gamemaker (unless that's changed now) so it's appreciated. Although there seems to be a sprite scaling issue on my Manjaro KDE that makes the pixel art blurry. You may have forgotten to turn off interpolation on Linux, since it's a per-platform setting iirc. Otherwise the art is pretty crisp and pleasing on the eye, if maybe the background could be a little more interesting.

I like the boomerang-style attack mechanic, it's quite fun and satisfying. As others have said, a shorter hop would be helpful. Or alternatively, designing the levels around a fixed jump height would improve things as well.

Pretty nice game. Challenging as well, but in a good way. You designed the levels pretty well.
I liked it good job.

Fun game. Pretty generic but still solid. The mechanics could use some polish bit plays well regardless. cool art

@swiftvector No problem! It was the first time I've ever tried it
It's still a bit fiddly to be honest. Yeah, I was wondering why the sprites where weirdly scaled, but didn't look into that. Thank you for the tips! I am going to look into that :)

Linux Mint with XFCE had similliar problems. :'D

Thanks for the feedback! :)

This is pretty well made little platform game. The game is looking great, and animations is good. The sound is okay, but I wish there was more sound effects and perhaps also some music. The controls is simple and they work really good. Overall is this a fine little jam game.

Nice game! The levels are challenging. If you can add muse can improve A LOT the game. Also, add more gamefeel when the character jumps and throws, finishes a level or dies could be great. Another thing is the coins, perhaps you can include something like Alex Kidd to engage more the game. Despite these things, it's a good game! Congrats!

It's a pleasant little classical platformer. The art is clean. Sound perhaps too stiff. It would be nice if the jump stop when we leave the keyboard key. In my humble opinion it's important to have precise control. The hoop is a good idea to try to match the theme. So I would say it's a respectable entry.

Cool game! The controls were very good and I had fun playing your game! I enjoyed the hoop mechanic and the sound effects were pretty good (some music would have been nice). The graphics were cool and I liked how the player is animated. The game felt pretty polished overall. Great job!

P.S. I did get this error when I lost once:

Thank you for your feedback! And yes I agree. That's the reason why I implemented a variable jump in a new build (which will be released after Play+Rate ends. Thanks!

@emperor-eagle I am glad to hear that! And also I am a bit suprised, because I didn't had much time for polish... I wish I had more time for some good Levels. But Thanks anyway!

Huh...interessting... I will look into that error!
Seems like I forget some state...where something looks for an existing Player...maybe the hoop?
Could you explain to me what happened when you lost? If you can remember it :)

@tunahead I can't remember fully, but I was jumping around crazily losing my lives quickly at one of those turret things (in the second level). Then I lost my last life and that's when the error appeared.

Good game! My biggest complaint is that if you hold jump, the player will jump again as soon as she lands, but it's not a big deal. The level design was good (but hard!). I especially liked the cute graphics of when you catch a rabbit in your hoop. This gave me very old-skool (pre-Mario) platformer vibes. Good job!

@emperor-eagle thanks, I will look into that, If I have the time. Thanks alot for describing the Situation :)

@codertrevor Hehe...Thanks! To be honest...the Levels were fastly thrown together.
The graphics were a bit of a higher focus for me this time. I am getting better. Good that I could transfer the cuteness :)

I really enjoyed this game! I love your use of the theme, and I love the mechanic of trapping the enemies inside a loop, and capturing them! I think for your next step, I would refine the controls. I think the character moves a little too fast, and the camera could be more centered. I would also add the ability to jump through platforms, and it felt if you fell from the bridge with the spikes, it felt there was no way to recover. Then for the design, I would make the bonus area a little easier. I think it's fair to have those as harder to reach players, but it feels that I have to repeatedly climb up there after I fall through, and it feels more just like a repetition jump than a challenge location.

With the feedback, nice work! You should keep going with it!
