nice little game here, the enabling and disabling of your keys was nice

I really loved this game. From the first view it looks beautiful. You start off with nothing and I have never seen an idea like this before. The puzzles are fun, and I would love to play more! Sound effects are also really pleasant. I'd love to see you expand on this game, as I would definitely play more levels

Gathering and losing controls on the way is a great idea :)

I enjoyed the concept of getting/loosing basic abilities (like moving in a specific direction).
You have to carefully think about when to sacrifice an ability to activate a switch.

Really liked the artstyle. Camera's slow zoom was a little choppy. Good puzzles, and a quite innovative way to adapt to the theme. Music's also great.

Great and consistent art style, love the landing and jumping particles! Lovely puzzle concept that could probably be expanded to really great puzzles.

Wow, the idea of giving the player more control options AND taking them away to progress further is amazing! Very clever. The environment is great and the puzzles are interesting. Some platforms seem to be walk-able but are not, but thats not a big deal. Has a lot of potential! Well done!

Whan an amazing, well polished game. Puzzles are challenging and fun. Level deisgn must have taken you a lot of time and it paid off.

I believe you could build on that idea, creating more levels with what you have adding challenging environments on the way. Imagine Super Meat Boy without jump or walking left! :D

@ryzy27 "Lots of time", huh? :P It was done in a hurry, I think I threw together the second half of the map in the last hour before the deadline.

Glad you liked it though.

Cute and coherent sprites, cool laser particle effect. Interesting gameplay mechanics and you managed to create a good level design with them. It seems you collect gems in the game but there's no counter anywhere, at the end I didn't know if I had collected them all or missed some. Kudos for making it with your own tech, double kudos for supporting AZERTY keyboards out of the box <3

@lucien-catonnet Thanks for the kind words! The gems were checkpoints by the way.

Pretty impressive work. I love the way you used giving up controls as a kind of puzzle element. Kind of wish the shoot button was bound to space though as you already had me using one hand for awd and the other for the mouse so it was a bit annoying to have to switch between using the mouse and the j key. Maybe space? Overall one its the best looking and interesting puzzle games I have played from the jam yet so good work!

Super nice. The graphics and sound and everything. Gameplay is a little too hard for me because I suck at sidescrollers and just can't deal with them. That being said, I enjoyed the idea of using keys in a different way.

Short, but effective. This has a level of polish rarely seen in 48-hour games.

I wasn't a fan of the control scheme- WAD+mouse works fine, but pressing J then requires either stretching the left hand really far or taking the right hand off the mouse.

You'd definitely need some more mechanics if you wanted to expand the game further, but I think this was just about the perfect length for what you have now.

Thanks for submitting the game for our P&R Stream! I enjoyed playing it the puzzles were quite cool, trhe only thing was the cam. It was like stuttering which looked a bit strange to me at least. After all a very good submission!
