Stuck in the Loop Dungeon by Nyubi
Well, what else is there to say... a loopy dungeon... that you get stuck in... yeah, that's it.

This was my first jam and right now I'm kind of in disbelief that I actually managed to submit something. The emphasis is on "something", there was so much more I wanted to add in order for it to be a game, but hey... I got something to focus on next time then ;)
Thanks everybody, this was a great experience. Also following many of you along during the jam! I learned tons and (for most parts) also had fun during the jam! Take care :)

@snowinn Many thanks as well for your feedback! And yes, absolutely. I had a few ideas on how to do sound & music + UI, as they are fundamental in my opinion too. Yet... "unexperienced dev at work" ;) I simply mismanaged what I could accomplish within the 72h. Looking forward to give it another shot next time :v:

I don't think the health bar works? It never looked like it was going down, and then I died.
@coda-highland: Thank you very much as well! Yes, health bar.... there is none 😬😉😆 UI was on my list of fundamentals, I hope I get around to it next time.

sometimes, it's not very clear if the enemy disappeared because I touched it or because I hit it with the sword. Or when they appear below. And sometimes they appeared right on top of me, without a chance to hit them
In my opinion it lacks of feedbacks on what you're doing (enemy deaths, current loop, health, sounds...) but it is normal for a jam game!

@vleue: Thanks to you as well. The "current loop" idea is great, I will consider it for UI development, as well as proper particles/UI to know what happened. I think I also should reconsider the spawn points... simplest solution might be: enemies should probably spawn of screen to prevent them from appearing on top of the player
@flazone: Much appreciated!!! I'll try to further develop the art; it's basically sketchnoted, which I like as well. But I think I can learn a lot more there as well and it's really fun to scribble around ;)
When I was playing, I was thinking it could be a mechanic of a room in Zelda. Not tell me why i don't know :smile:

Unluckily there was some ghosting when moving the character :-(
