Fun game, but quite hard. Sniper is the weapon you really need to succeed in the game!
Quite fun! Well done!

Fun game, reminded me of Smash TV. Music was a bit mellow for something so violent, but it serves it's purpose. Characters were simple but cute, which actually provided a charming contrast. I know animations take time, but having a bounce or squash/stretch while moving could've made for a walking anim.

Forgot to mention: In-game controller prompts would be helpful. Your GUI in the upper-right is covered by itch.io's buttons, but I was able to drag my window into a rectangle to move them off.

So simple, but yet so fun. Also, those sounds effects are so... satisfying somehow :D Great job!

the game is fun but the learning curve is quite steep.

It's smooth, simple, and a joy to play. It's a genre we all know, but something about the simple shapes, punchy sounds, and slow/large bullets make for a really satisfying experience. I haven't beaten it yet, but I keep coming back for more!

Quite a polished and fun game. Enjoyed the dungeon crawler aspect and the upgrade system. If I am to have one criticism it would be to maybe have a bit more of a different colour for the bullets compared to background but apart from that, amazing job.

Was fun playing it, I think the music sounds a bit to compressed and unbalanced for me personally. And also when ich picked up a new weapon it did not switch like described but rather appeared as second weapon and I had no idea how to select it. But still liked the idea

You can use your second weapon by pressing the right mouse button. When both slots are filled, your currently held weapon will be switched with the one on the ground. Also, thank you for the feedback.

I tried a lot of different tones for the bullets, and this is the best I could do. What do you think I should use for the bullets? I thought about giving the bullets the color of the level. Do you think that would work?

It's a really fun shooter game. Pleasant background music, weapons sound effects and a variety of enemies add a lot to the game. My only complaint is that the game doesn't fit on my laptop screen :)

Super fun! The audio was excellent! I thought the difficulty curve made this game really rewarding to play over and over again!

This is one of my favorite genres and you handled it excellently. I loved the styles, the setting, the random generation, all excellently done. During one run I did bump into the exit only one room over, but normally in these types of games I'd do the whole floor anyway for the bonuses so that wasn't really an issue. Great entry, congratulations on showing off some incredible talent in only three days!!

Enter the Gungeon and Risk of rain clear influance, but it is really well done!
I felt really powerfull with all thos powerUps.
The only issue is that the bullets need to be more distinctive! It makes them hard to see when they are grey as the floor and other grey particles

Fun game to play! I think the enemy bullets could be a bit brighter to stand out from the floor color, but otherwise really nice job :)

Nice mix of a dungeon crawler and top down shooter. The player shooting feels really nice and the movement is smooth. I do wish that the bullets were more contrasted against the background. The powerup loop does add an extra layer to the game and makes even the repeat encounters feel great.

Had fun playing for a few rounds. Found the particles too similar to the bullets but otherwise enjoyed it.

This is great! Tons of fun to play. Only criticism is that the frames grind to a halt in the endgame when there's so many bullets on the screen. One of my favorite games of this jam!
