Thanks to all the rest for the feedback!
@shosanna We are sadly not experienced with HTML programming or Mac at all. :\ Maybe you have a friend who's got a windows PC where you could try it? :)
I think godot has a way to export your projects directly to html, normally it does not need to program anything special to do it
(If the lava sign were at the edge of the drop with a downward arrow rather than on the ceiling maybe it would be clearer?)
I felt like the enemies in Stage 4 were pretty easy to avoid or defeat compared with the other obstacles throughout the game, but otherwise the difficulty pacing seems fine considering that you intended it to be pretty challenging.
I enjoyed this interpretation of the theme and *definitely* enjoyed the music. The physics interactions are solid.
Overall a really great game.
The only thing I would change is the scaling of the pixel art, the game would look more coherent if all sprites were the same resolution (dwarf, hearts, goblins).
Btw, that goblin talk cracked me up  , great job on this submission!
@all Thank you for the nice feedback :)
The Theme is spot on, and the game/level design was well thought out.
Some parts were a bit frustrating.
For example at the first stairs with rocks falling down.
But when your realized you can hide under those steps it was quite rewarding.
Same with the Boss fight but i don't want to spoil that for others :).
Really nice platformer - i love beer drinking games lol (in LD45 i made "claimbeer" where beers were enemies :D)
The gameplay feels really smooth and responsive, the platforming is pretty tight and I didn't feel like any of my deaths weren't my fault.
The music was a little repetitive after a while but it wasn't annoying or anything.
I do think that maybe after collecting a beer and going back to the start, you'd get some way of turning off or circumventing certain platforming puzzles with your new tool, as some of them really kicked my butt even after I'd gotten past them the first or second time, which made it a bit of a drag to get myself back to the new part of the level I could access.
The art is really cute, I like the little dwarf. I hope he drinks responsibly, at least for a dwarf.
Great game! :D
