Howdy, pardner! We gotta rope us some cattle. Click and drag to throw yer lasso, and aim to land the loop on the critter's neck. It don't hurt 'em, I promise. Ketch as many as ya can. Yee-haw!

cool one
Graphics and sounds are good and really setting the mood.

Gameplay is quite challenging though

Good job!

Cool idea! Graphics are well made, and it has simple controls. It's a bit hard to get a sense of how much power you're putting in the throw, maybe a visual indicator would have been nice, but apart from that it's really fun to play, well done!

This is a really cute experience, and I'm *really* bad at it: I only managed to lasso 10 cows. It oozes character.

It maybe ran a little long for me, and I had a hard time judging how far my lasso would go (maybe a "power" meter would help out with that?), but I'm really glad I found this game.

A great little game - reminds me a lot of something you'd find in an old Game & Watch/Warioware minigame.

I found it almost impossible until I learned two tricks: aim by the shadow of the loop and, less obviously, you don't need to click & drag in one quick swoop. Slowly "charging" the throw and lining up your shot is still challenging but much more manageable. Not disclosing those to the player makes it have even more in common with those old games, but might turn away people who don't get why they're so bad  Great work!

Nice simple game, the graphics are nice and the game has a simple mechanic.

I did struggle to catch cows though, The lasso would land on them, but didn't seem to catch them, got a little frustrating over time, not sure how the "collision detection" is handled. Only managed to catch a few cows, but near the end the lasso looked like I was hitting it every time, but without a catch.

I'm glad that someone went the same way as me with the loop theme :) It's quite challenging to hit the cow, maybe some more feedback would help. But it is simple and very functional concept! Would be nice to have a highscore table to know how am I doing :) Big plus points for cow-nter!

I like the sound design. The pixel art is good. It all fits together. The throwing feels like it lacks feedback. It is hard to tell how far the lasso will go. I like how the cows get faster it is a nice way to ramp up difficulty.

Nice little game ! It is not clear to me how the mechanic works (is it the quickness with which you drag & drop, or the length or the drag, or both which determine the throwing ?) but I managed to catch 15 cows !

Some suggestions:
- It gets loooong, I think the time allowed could be reduced ;)
- Adding an end screen.
- And why not milking that humorous vibe of the description all the way through (cows with different assets, audio for the cowboy, etc.) !

I like the very literal interpretation of the theme here! Ropin' cows is a great idea, and the pixel graphics and peaceful audio are nice, but the gameplay is a little let down by the lack of a force indicator, or something similar. I'd love to play a post jam version of this where it's a little easier to figure out the throws. Nice work!

Nice one, I think the time was about right because I definitely noticed myself improving by the end and managed to catch 20 cows. Also I liked the way they sped up as the game went on to keep things interesting. That little swoosh sound and flying shadow was satisfying, so nicely executed.

Its a short minigame, but pulled off well and with good relevance to the theme, nicely done! :)
