The lens effect on the camera is really nice, makes the art-style pop really well! Loved it!

Fun little puzzle platformer! It took me a bit to realize how the time mechanic worked, and I accidentally skipped a lot of levels my first time through because I didn't realize that hitting E would do so, but that helped me to realize what the mechanics were. Good game overall!

Congratulations on the game! It is extremely well done and polished to perfection, and although the idea isn't new, I had a great experience. I wish I could freeze time and get back before the 5 second mark. Good luck!

The art style is neat, and it plays very well, nicely done ! A way to start rewinding before the end of the 5 seconds would have been cool.

This was a really polished and well made game! It took me an embarrassingly long time to get around the first level, however once I figured it out I had so much fun. The simple silhouette graphics combined with the time-stop shader worked really well, and the puzzle was unique yet fun, and provided a good amount of challenge. The 5 second limit was a fantastic time period, it was short enough to be challenging without being frustrating. Overall there isn't much to mention, just because this was such a fun and polished game to play I have no quarrels with it at all, well done!!

I really had fun playing it, the simple animation and aesthetic goes well with this type of puzzle platformer, good job !

I tried it out, but I absolutely don't understand the time mechanic (I haven't voted because it didn't seem fair). I can only adjust time it when runs out and that rewinds the player position back to the start position or somewhere inbetween which makes me gain nothing with regards to progressing on the level.

@local-minimum When you move through time you can pass through the green walls when closing them. So if you go past a door while it is open and then press the button that closes it, while rewinding time you can rewind past the closed door. I know it isn't explained very well because we ran out of time for making a good tutorial and introduction.

I found that using R button it's possible to restart the level (it isn't mentioned in the description, but very useful on some levels).
Great idea, decent realization. Pretty enjoyed the level design - levels are smart and require thinking and managing of the character. Keep developing it, a really good game.

Very creative concept! I've never seen it being done quite this way before. I especially liked the level progression. It introduced new gameplay elements really well.

The platforming mechanics felt pretty solid as well. Graphics are minimalistic but well done.

I agree that a button for rewinding earlier would have been nice to have but it wasn't a real problem since the timer is short anyways.

One suggestion: Explain the restart button in the first level. I messed up and had to come back to this page to look at the controls.

Excellent entry!

@cookienoir @captainproton42 Thanks for the tips. I will add it in the description at least for now. I have already made an updated version where you see the controls on the first level, however I don't want to upload it while the jam is still lasting. Thanks for playing!

Quite a tricky game, but you definitely start being able to sort of think in the right way.

Really solid aesthetic too.

Really liked it. As others have said Nice effect on the camera.. For a simple 2d game it has lots of character.

okay, after struggling a while to understand the concept I actually really like the game :D
It would have been ultra cool to do a little tutorial to explain the mechanic when you start the game. But I saw in a comment above that you didn't had the time. But I guess you could just had a little video here that explains the core mechanic.
Why not space for jump ?

Thanks for the cool game I'm having fun :-)

Just a little extra comment : A little "Coyote Time" for jumping is making a huge difference on precise platformers like this.
It means you can still jump even if you passed a bit the platform. This makes a better feeling for the game overall.

@satolas Thanks for the great feedback! Originally the platforming didn't have to be too precise, but I guess it might've turned out that way so yes Coyote Time is a good idea. As for the tutorial, a video is a pretty good idea I might add that, thanks! Also, space for jumping was my original intention (so you can either press space or W), but I forgot to add it haha.

Not the most original idea but extremely well executed and polished!
