Last Train Home by Caladrius

[raw]
made by Caladrius for Ludum Dare 47 (JAM)

Work hard, play hard.

If there’s one thing that could be said for Hubert it’s definitely that he’s hard. But oh no! He’s got himself on the circle line and he’s so drunk he keeps missing his stop!

Try your best to guide a very inebriated Hubert through the train and onto the platform!

From the team that brought you Bubbles Saves Grandma, back again with another impossible to control nightmare. "Last Train Home" is a train escape survival horror? A nail-biting action-adventure experience? Chess?!

5 for mood, because we've all been there before....

A fun idea for a game. The artstyle sits well with the game style. The movement really feels.. realistic in a way  Nice!

5 across the board, loved it completely! The art, the sound, the mood (we have all been there before) and even the attention to detail in his mismatched shoes! With some touching up, it feels almost like a 'getting over it' style game in its frustratingly enticing gameplay loop. Great stuff!

@valkija Definitely wish I had an extra half a day or so to tweak those physics a bit. Transitioning from a ragdoll back into an animation is way harder than I expected! That mismatched shoe idea was on Polite Stories, amazing call by her

@samshine @boaz @jagsyfox Thank you everybody!

The concept and everything was perfectly executed!! Everything matched so well and the game was fun to play. I especially loved the music and the sounds the playable character made... Fun!!

Fun Game! Would be cool to see some more levels / obstacles but overall a fun little game.

This game was pretty great! It was funny in a very chaotic way and I while I found myself a little frustrated with some of Hubert's stumbling I never wasn't enjoying the challenge of drunkenly trying to stumble up the train and fling myself at my fellow passengers.
Loved it!

 really funny! I really liked the controlls even if they were hard on purpose. Also the camera movements are a very nice touch that most teams would skip !

I laughed so much the moment I took the first lunge I could barely continue playing, absolutely hilarious. This is by far my favourite entry into LD47, well done guys!

Wow, this game depicts the story of my life! Love the drunken controls and the rag dolls! Very fun concept.

Hilarious game, well put together and surprisingly difficult! I think after a few beers I might not even be able to complete it... I think lunging everywhere seems to be the best tactic, but not sure about how my fellow passengers on this surprisingly wide tube train felt about that :P

Surprisingly realistic drunken physics, and just the right amount of difficulty to be fun. :) The train stops make you think about where you are going to land in order to lunge out the door. Love the music and sounds too. Congrats on a great entry :)
