really cool! this sets a great mood from the beginning. it's a creative use of story and dialogue to make the game interesting, and i really like the mystery and ambiguity of everything. the graphics were really cool too

While the gameplay itself feels a little basic (maybe some minigames for different tasks could've made it more interesting) the whole experience works very well. I love how unclear the story is yet it still gives you enough hints to come to your own conclusion and theorize about the environment you're placed in. Although it's this that makes the ending a bit disappointing, since while the loop is acknowledged, it doesn't really explain anything.

But even with that hiccup at the end, it still makes for a fun and compelling experience.

Very nice visuals and very mysterious - especially liked the sprite for that tall thing in the dark (I want to know what that is now!) If you want to polish it more post-LD I reckon an ambient noise like the hum of the space station could add a lot to the *loneliness of space* feel your going for.

Wow, very nice game. Creative take on the theme and a very nice little story. I was originally going to suggest the addition of music, but I feel like the silence perfectly fits the atmosphere of the game. Excellent entry.

This is a cute game.

The visuals are nice and the writing is solid, but I think some people might find the ending unfulfilling rather than simply ambiguous. Another loop through the five days would have given you a lot of scope to flesh the story out and get the player invested in speculating about the meaning, but it would obviously have also been a lot more work.

I love the visual. We have.the same approach (minigames as task) but I have to say I love it! They have good controls and I like a lot of. Congrats and check my too! Tks!

Good job on the game. While the gameplay is simple it does a very good job with the atmosphere. I liked the story to it and it comes together well.

Hi there! I'm sure some players would prefer if this game had more puzzles or minigames, but I actually enjoyed the simple routine of it. Didn't feel like it needed a much more deep interaction. I thought the art style was very nice as well as the mood. The ending and the bit with the shadow character felt a bit too lose (at least for my taste). Overall, it's really polished.

It's an intriguing story, with wonderful premise and graphics! Could use some more gameplay though. I'd love to see if and where you're going with this one in the future!

Haha, you were totally right about our games being similar. Yours was definitely way better though...

Only thing my game was better in is music (partial win at least!)

Graphics were really cool, focusing on a single screen but making that screen really polished was a great idea.
All stages of growth sprites were nice.
When the light was removed, it also looked really cool, the phantom was scary!

The monologue system worked well and looked good. (way better than mine at least...)

I'm surprised you disabled the humor rating, as this game *actually had humor* as opposed to the games that I've played this jam.

The twist didn't surprise me as it was exactly the same twist as in my game, but that doesn't diminish its value.

Good job, great game!

Wow your game has an incredible atmosphere. I really liked the graphics and the sound. I felt totally immersed in the experience that your game offers. I always felt I was isolated but at the same time being watched by something. It is a project with a lot of potential. Congratulations.

Very artsy entry, i liked it! As a game though, it was a little bit bland, just reading dialogue boxes with virtually no interactivity. I liked the art and the story though, very moody. Perhaps it could've benefitted from some ominous music :)

Really polished game. I agree with @invixel, you could have added humour as a rating as it was funny at times. The cat thing spooked me a bit and the art was awesome. I would love another longer version!

Oh dear I'm in love with this game :( It was so sad (and creepy). Loved the pixel art and animations, the atmosphere, the gameplay. It was so... perfect. well done. I really want a full game out of this :( with some good audio design it could turn into a beast. great job  (cool you did the miz jam, too)
