RbLoop by OaksGuard

[raw]
made by OaksGuard for Ludum Dare 47 (JAM)

In this game you control a robot (Rb) that uses a loop to operate.

Drag instructions onto the loop to add them to the robot.

Drag instractions out of the loop to remove them.

Can you get the sun coin?

Capture.PNG Capture-2.PNG Capture-3.PNG This year I did not have a lot of time for the jam, I've uploaded this game after only 34 hours after I read the theme. Thanks for any feedback.

That was fun to play, the level came together nicely.

This was quite fun but very difficult.
The game might benefit from multiple levels that start out much easier to teach the player the mechanics

Really enjoyed it though so thank you! :-)

Interesting and challenging gameplay, good musical accompaniment perfectly complements the picture. A very cool game!

Wooh, that's quite challenging. The concept is really nice and well implemented. I found the music too repetitive, and I had to cut off the sound to play the game.

Some kind of simple tutorial zone could be a really great addition.

Loved the concept and gathering all the power thingies, although I found it to be a bit frustrating at times.

Heh, [same hat](https://i.imgur.com/87eXB2P.jpg).
I had almost the same idea, but also totally different. It's really interesting to see your game that looks the same, even with the loop at the bottom, but plays so differently

This is a really hard game for me. A super-easy-baby-mode which generates a checkpoints after every collection would be perfect for me. Jumping on the moving plattform was were I gave up.

But however - this is a really interessting and mostly intuitiv gameplay. Once I got where to put the square everything starts making sense. What I really like is that you did a programming game with using an approach I've never seen before.

There is a nice idea here and a smart usage of the theme.

The game is simple but delivers enough to be fun. A bit too challenging tho.

Audio is an issue, im my opinion, as music gets too repetitive after a while.

Overall a good job, good that you are able to finish a complete game with less hours on the jam.

Nice idea, but a little hard to play for me since space time was too short. Enjoyed playing it!

Very good concept! I like the idea that you can hold space to pause the loop for a moment. Collecting the arrows and putting them when you want in good order. In fact it's a good prototype. It need a big polish and nice art and sound and a better music. Then it could be an good game!
