Nothing To Hide by Pseudonclide
Since he joined the resistance, Bob is stuck in a loop where the cause keeps asking him favors...
The game is all about hiding stuff in your apartment. Each time comrades ask you a favour, a police officer will come to inspect your house. If he sees an illegal object it's game over ! Think fast as you only get a couple of seconds to hide each object !
We made this game with Unity, initially using the HDRP but in the end we discovered that the HDRP wasen't supported by WebGL game so we had to downgrade last minute to the URP.
Musics are made by Elbbard, we did all the 3D modeling and the coding is a patchwork of Brackey's, stackoverflow, spiced by our own code.

Not bad, but not well game. 6/10 I think
vv
exactly the right kind of wonky. It would be nice to add some controls to rotate the objects. But all my stacking efforts went to hell when everyting exploded at some point, idk if i didnt let go off smth or what happened XD
10/10 would hide contraband again!
@inanimatecarbonrod Now you know why bob joined the resistance !
@lamasaurus You cheaty .... nice job finding the exploit ;) It is sometime hard to pull off though !
@nikolay-zapolnov Glad you had fun ! I think what you took for a notebook was a mallet full of cash. I confess we had tons of stuff to add but we got caught by the deadline and poor time management XD
@thiago-nascimento There was initially a door planned with an entry animation but it turned out really bad so we removed it and accepted the fact that in the futur, police-robots clearly come through your ceiling !
Thanks a lot to everybody that has played our game, we are really happy that people are having fun with it even if it's just a couple of minutes and half a laugh it's a great feeling !
I put this together really quickly using Cakewalk (free DAW) on Windows. I had a lot of fun! I've used an old flute, that probably comes from an asian country, with a lot of reverb to record the first song. For the second song I went a bit overkill and recorded a 3 minute long song with electric guitar, piano, drums, flute and even a violin/contrabass midi instrument. Unfortunately you can hear only about 15 seconds of that song in the game. Finally I made something a bit crazy with high bpm and highly distorted electric guitar for the last one when the robot is scanning. Cheers!
Your game reminds me of a weird mix of JAZZPUNK, Papers, please and Prop Hunt in Gary's mod! I don't recall playing something like this before - it would be really interesting to see it polished and with more fleshed out story/world. I'd totally play an indie "hide'em up" set in dystopian totalitarian reality! :v:
Really loved the concept !!!
You should do a complete game out of this. Maybe Desktop/Vr version.
Its just such a good idea, and with lot of humor ! A bit like a child hiding stuff from his mum ahah.
5/5 loved the concept man !
+1 for WebGL build mate :-)
@satolas thanks fo the positive review, it's really funny you talk about a child hiding stuff for his mom because it was the initial idea (thus having to hide a gameboy) but when i had to model the mom and dad(that were supposed to be robot-mom and robot-dad) it proved to be too much of a challenge for my poor 3D modeling skills and so we scrapped it and made a go for the dystopian government story with RPG, bombs and mallets of cash hahaha !
