Description

A game that tells the story of a species. From seemingly nothing, earth was born. From random events, and a stupid amount of luck, earth is the only known planet to house life. Life that came from asteroids, filled with hidrogen, other molecules, and some mutated cells. You are one of those cells, so survive and evolve!

Nice art style, although the perspective was kind of confusing. I love the UI though

The skip button gets hidden in the void of space i you dont hoover over it and i managed to die before the intro was complete haha.

But i did it, i Evolved! neat game, though it was a bit hard to make sense of the scale of the other asteroids even with the size shown, it got tilted in so many skewed angeles. and also, the exit button didnt work from the end screen

and i think you should keep the soundtrack within the game loop instead of the menus, but good track!

As mentioned before, the perspective is a bit confusing. The texts of the other cell could always be facing the camera so we can see better. I think it was worth it for the effort and learning. Congrats!

@aidanwelch , @gabrielgamedev & @kekkodude Thanks for the feedback!

You guys mentioned perspective, it was done in that way to prevent the player from drawing a direct line towards other cells (with their mind of course). This way i add a layer of complexity to the loop. As for the cell scale text, i decided to make it follow it's rotation so the decision to grab one instead of the other, would involve something other than obvious data xD, if i made the text aways face the camera, the player would probably never die xD.
As for the track being on the gameplay not only on menus, i'll look into it thank you :]

The exit button not working and the skip button getting hidden will be fixed, thanks :D

OK, I really like this one. The hardest challenge was to catch the first prey. And the part with super tiny cells was tense! It felt like a hard sci-fi scpace battle. Long preparation and fast and sharp contact. And in late game, when guys starting to get really big and collide chaotically it is awesom. Not to mention cool art style! Very well done!

Can't run the game, says I don't have enough permissions... maybe somebody knows what could be the problem?

This was an awesome idea. The text talking about the creation of the universe was a neat touch. I also thought that the art and shaders on the planets were cool too. Awesome job on the cool game!

I didnt enjoy this game.

(1) I died while reading the tutorial text. It would have been better for the game to be paused (or for you to be invincible) while the tutorial was taking up 33% of the screen.

(2) There's no way to skip the tutorial text. You have to click 4 times each time you start from the main menu

(3) It's really hard to tell if you're going to collide with smaller cells. I missed quite a few that looked like they were going to hit me but didn't. Some kind of indication that I'm on the same Y plane as an oncoming cell would be nice

i like that the cell moves more when it gets larger, thats cool

I was confused at first and kept holding up, and was confused why I wasn't running into anything! The perspective was a bit confusing but after I figured out what was going on the game was relaxing and satisfying. I'm excited to see if you do more with this!

I thought it was a nice little game. The educational intro was a good idea, and the art style was nice. As others have mentioned, having some way to know if you are on the correct course to collide with the other cells would be nice. I enjoyed it. Well done!

@shieldgenerator7 Thank you for the feedback, and thanks for the sincerity s2.
It's a good idea to implement the skip function and the invinclibility, or a way to prevent death in the first seconds, thank you for the suggestion.
I didn't want a indication because it would make it 10x easier, but maybe i didn't think much i'll look into ways to prevent that frustation.
Again thank you! s2
