Very fun to do different actions, press different keys and choose places to click. Good art and atmospheric music. Nice try to fit the theme

@itshornunicorn @nineteeen @paolino-maisto @jeroenwimmers @grazyna @moonblaststudios thanks for you comments!

Did you find the game too hard? We are unsure if we should made it easier and with a little slower pace with the incidents. We appreciate every feedback. Thanks you very much.

That was really hectic. I was not expecting to be bombarded with everything right off the bat. I really enjoyed the music and the graphics. I had an issue with the right-click event for the bottom row. I have no idea if I was misreading what to do, or my mouse was broken, but I couldn't figure that one out. Overall though, it was very enjoyable!

Great game! Best score was 100,000+ points (no idea if that's good though...)
Loved the music and the art.
The survival side was quite harsh and got frustrated with the laser beam (maybe the fire rate was too slow??) and had a hard time killing the suicidal pirate ships :(

I did think the issues coming up on the ship was quite well balanced and never got too many things to do at the same time. Good job on that!

Great jam entry guys :)

I wish there was a maybe a quick tutorial to tell you what you need to do for each activity. With everything happening on screen I was a bit confused and died a lot at first. After I got each activity down I found the game very enjoyable and not too difficult at all. Definetly not easy but I had a lot of fun playing the game

Much thanks for your feedback. We discovered a bug where our "difficulty system" starts at a harder pace than we would have liked (some stuff with probability miscalculation). We have fixed it but we are unsure if we should/are allowed to release it.

@yaakgold for the engine problem you need to click the engines in the right order. They are in roman numerals.

Really cool game ! It's rare to see a game which mix up gameplays, some interactions are hard to guess at first like the right click mouse, but overall it was fun :)

No ending? Timer reached zero and nothing happened. Pirates also stopped happening at the 5 minute mark so maybe I ran into a bug.

Fun idea though! Clean look. Rapidly swinging my hand all around the keyboard and mouse kept it frantic and fun without being overwhelming all the way until the end.

@nillard There should be an ending. Thanks for your feedback. We will look into this. What happened at the moment you reached zero and solved all "incidents".

@shadow30 The ship just kept flying, no further incidents popped up.

@nillard very strange, I played it again with the downloadable version and it worked (with a minor animation bug).
We just release a new version with minor bugfixes, the end definitely should work there.

@shadow30 That makes a lot more sense now. I noticed the roman numerals, but didn't connect the dots on that. I am going to have to give the game another shot now :)

I find that the game launches us into the bath a little quickly, we have no tutorial to explain to us how the game is played (even a fixed screen with the keys is enough).
And there is also a problem in the disposition of the keyboard keys, I do not know if it's wanted, but it's disturbing to use the directionals arrows and just after, use the letter which are sometimes at the opposite of keyboard.
And last thing, the score may be buggy, I held at least 2 minutes and I had a score of 0 :/

Great game overall. A tutorial would be nice though, but even then it is quite clear what to do.

I had a great time with this game! First impression was pretty overwhelming but on my second attempt I got the hang of it and the balance felt good. I only had two problems:

1. In full screen mode with dual monitor I found myself clicking outside the game and minimizing it a lot when trying to deal with pirates. It'd be nice if the cursor was confined to the window.
2. Some situations with the asteroids felt unfair - if the first asteroid comes in the middle of the screen then I'm forced to choose left or right before I see the next asteroid. The ship is too big to be able to weave through them cleanly so it felt too much like rng to me.

Other than that I really enjoyed it! The sound effects for destroying the large asteroid was absolutely delicious!
Nice job!

Nice little multitasker. A bit overwhelming the first time but it felt fine after that. I appreciate how well things are telegraphed which is a must for these types of games. Fun polished stuff!

Cool game)
Even though the game crashed a few times, it was interesting to play it, a lot of mechanics and dynamic game-play, really good work guys!

Also I didn't understand at the beginning how to repair engine even though the prompt was right in front of my eyes:D

After figuring the controls and game loop out, it was pretty fun. The popup sound wasn't as necessary the 5th time as it was the 1st, but the changing keys definitely added some fun. More variety and a tweaked difficulty scale would go a long way for this project!

This game is great! It captures the stress of flying through an asteroid field perfectly. The art is perfect and broad range of issues that come up keep it interesting. I think having different sounds for different issues would help recognize what needs to be done quicker. Overall, this is a really fun game and a great entry :)

Nice fun game, my only complaint would be about the asteroids you have to avoid since it's the only event that don't rely so much on the player's skills, you can sometimes get into a situation where you can't avoid being hit.

The first time i played i died in about 20 seconds, a tutorial or a gradually increasing difficulty at the start would really be nice, although the second time i managed to survive for 10 minutes (no end screen sadly D:), the variety of the events is very cool, and i like how some gets more difficult by asking for three keys instead of two, sometime spaced. For some reason i only had pirates in the two first minutes, after that no pirates until the end, not sure if it is intentional.

Anyway, really cool work :ok_hand:

Nice game) it's fun. Brain is blowing, after five minutes! Three times I died on this. ![Безымянный.png](///raw/7fe/z/33387.png) It to hard to dodge asteroids!

Really enjoyed this! I love multitasking games and this hit the spot. It does get super overwhelming towards the end though, to the point where in some cases I *think* it can be impossible. But I found myself playing it over and over again to get it right! Sound is nice, but too loud (or music is too quiet, take your pick!)

@shadow30 i played the first one, i know there's a more recent one but as i was going to rate the game i thought trying onthe version that was posted during the jam made more sense. Also i hadn't read the whole page and saw that in the updated version there was an end screen and a better difficulty curve for the beginning.

About the asteroids, shooting could destroy them, or maybe just push them ?
🎤 shadow30
25. Apr 2020 · 21:53 UTC
@patatenouille Yeah in the first version there is a bug with the endscreen and difficulty system. Thats why I posted the second version (the rules say you can do that if its only bugfixes), but I understand if you want to rate the original version, thats why I left it there :)

Pushing is a nice idea! Thanks!

Those bugs didn't changed much to the note i gave, it wasn't supposed to be here anyway so rating it as a part of the game is a bit extreme  Also as a sidenote i actually found the game only hard at the beginning, probably because i had to learn how it worked, but actually found it easier between 3 and 8 minutes in, on the end i had a lot more events which made it harder though. Overall i think you could increase the difficulty, or maybe add an option to do so

Really cool game! Hadn't beat it yet but had a lot of fun trying (I'm at my 7-8th attempt at the moment).

The graphics and audio are really well done on this. I love how the colors pop out, and the music and sound really push that sci-fi atmosphere.

The gameplay is pure hecticness! My brain is screaming in agony trying to perform multiple tasks at once, just what I want from a 10 minute arcade game. Despite that, it never felt too unfair. I think there is some task limiter in place which I appreciate. I also appreciate the down time here and there that lets me catch my breath.

One thing I noticed was that sometimes asteroids are unavoidable, as in they are too close with each other that my spaceship just wouldn't fit. This happen about 3 times or so in my playthroughs combined. Although at some point whilst the asteroids were too close to each other width-wise I was able to squeeze through them length-wise so maybe it was intentional all along?

Another thing that I would appreciate is making the click hitbox for the engine fixing sequence bigger; it's rather frutstrating losing because my clicks wouldn't register. Not really complaining though, still a fun game regardless! Just giving my two cents.

Anyhow really solid work! Great job!

Awesome Job! When the game started up I was instantly impressed by the music, the visuals and everything! I didn't realize what to to at first, but once I figured it out it was tons of fun! I'm coming back to play this after the event is over! great job!
