Ape Space by Pinauna

Something's gone awry on the International ApeSpace Station (IaSS), and it's Major Monkey (you) job to fix it!

In Ape Space, you must fix the malfuctioning terminals while the ship rotate, and use that same motion to your advantage. Run against time, and combine momentum and the jetpack controls to complete the tasks.

pretty awesome game had a good time with it, but It was tough trying to find where the tasks were, maybe add a arrow guiding you to the next objective?

@protocap thanks for playing it! There are arrows, but they bugged out sometime during building. We will make sure to fix it as soon as possible, thank you for pointing that out!

Really loved the sounds, the graphics and the controls !

I just spent like 5 minutes just turning around and forgot my self !

The improvement parts really stand in the tasks, i had trouble finding them !

I also love the fact that you explained everything, i wasn't lost !

Also, maybe you could ease the controls? I mean, i liked them and thought it was challenging to turn right etc, but maybe for the sake of the game it would be better if it was easier? I don't know it's just a suggestion !

Either than that, great game and well done to all of you !

@shyrro thanks for playing it! There were suposed to be arrows guiding you to the next objective, but they bugged out. We are just now building an new fixed version

This is a really nice game! The overall jokey atmosphere is apparent in every aspect of the game, from the music to the 3D models of the monkey and the computers in the background. Controls are nice, but the objectives were a bit harder to figure out (like that the arrows actually pointed to the space station donuts instead of the computers or what Rounds mean), but other than that I really liked this neat little game!

Nice, I managed to beat the game that time, the indicator arrows help so much, my only note would be maybe to make them stand out more, also sticking to the ship could be a little more responsive, feels like it has too much of a delay but otherwise it's a great game

I quite like your take on the theme since I struggled to get out of those wheels ! ^^ The game was fun to play, I loved your choice of music, it fits perfectly with the mood. Controls were hard for me but hey, we're in space ! I enjoyed your game very much !

Very nice game! Took me a little to grasp the concept but once I did I had a lot of fun just moving around with my person - er - monkey. Very creative and good polish and execution, bravo!

Hah this is a really cute game. Kinda hard too. I couldn't see those arrows in the beginning, maybe try changing their colour so they will not merge with the environment. And lastly. Can we have a special points button for BOWIE REFERENCES !?! 👨‍🎤👨‍🎤👨‍🎤

@jakob-reborn thank you for playing it, and glad you liked! Yeah, those arrows were pesky, they kept bugging out, and were messed around quite a bunch. The original idea was to have each with a different color, but we ended up not having time to implement it. But white does get mixed with the station art.

The orchestral music is so over the top Its hilarious! Amazing work. I love the artwork, especially the monkey. I love how he spins around as he rotates. Great work all around!

Very good controls. Intertia is just-right. Not too big as to make movement frustrating, but also big enough to make movement challenging.

Music somehow fits to this game, as you dance around :) And small things make it even better. I loved how doors opened when you got close.

One minor nitpick: The time is moving right as you start and you have some tutorial reading to do. Would be nice if it was paused initially. But I just read it and restarted the game, easy fix ;)

Very fun game. Difficult to control, but that was the fun part. The arrows kinda blend in with the background and sometimes an arrow goes on the top left behind tasks ui which makes it hard to see.

Great game overall! Enjoyed it a lot. :)

It's kinda disorienting - I think because the background stays static while you move - but pretty fun once you get used to it. Good job :)

That was a nice relaxing game with a very realistic (and hard) jetpack .. until I run out of time that is.

The music gives a nice Space Odyssey mood.

That's fun, but maybe more diversity could be cool (like "repair the computer", "repair emergency button"...)
And frustrating that you can't move when docked.

Great game!! I loved the mechanics, visual and gameplay itself is addictive. The only sugeston that i should make - if you intent to make an update - is about variety. Maybe if the player could upgrade some itens in order to fix and complete tasks, it would be very fun! Well done.
