Although there wasn't much to it, I played until my debt was paid off.\n\nMy main criticism was the lag when moving the gun, it seemed a little excessive that as you turned it would take almost a second for the gun to catch up.\n\nFor extending the gameplay, I think it would be cool to have the same mechanics, but make watering your crops really important (and have them take longer to grow) so you have to frantically running around shooting water at your crops to keep them alive. Cool project :)","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"holo","author_uid":"1000052","time":"2019-10-08T21:17:41Z","epoch":1570569461,"modified":1570569461,"text":"@blaster391 thanks a bunch! i tried to cut the gun lag down but something was causing really nasty jitter when i lowered it any further. need to work out an issue in the math to make it feel more responsive, but the good news is that it doesn't actually affect aim, just a visual thing.\n\nthe crop watering was planned to take much longer, i just completely ran out of time to balance the growth time vs rain frequency (i didn't even end up with time to finish the crop models! argh!) so i made sure it was short enough to make sure everything worked.\n\n@robopossum thanks! it was really planned for two people to work on the whole time, but that didn't pan out. originally was supposed to have much longer crop cycles, weeds taking over your farm all the time, random asteroid impacts (this was coded, but depended on the weeds to finish)... and finished models.\n\n@nachtwitch, @tarfield & @bramreth thanks!\n","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Honey Pony","author_uid":"1162497","time":"2019-10-09T21:34:37Z","epoch":1570656877,"modified":1570656877,"text":"Fun game.
