Too bad there is only a windows export on this. From the screenshot, it looks fun.

@matt-burton it is just a bloom effect with no treshold

I'd highly recommend NOT making installers for game jam games. You did this game in unity, you can easily make webgl build or just simple zip with required files.

I had fun with this as the chaos ramped up! The music was catchy, though it only played in one ear for me.

@bigtinygames webgl is not using shaders peoperly. And zip files use a method called cruch compression on the sprores which really messes psb files

@sthealthinator as far as I know zip is lossless compression, but if you can provide some data about how it can actually damage files I'd be really interested in reading it

this is a very nice game with the post processing stack....an the pixelated view.....
the system of spawning rockets and meteors was very nice...
overall the music was pretty good and attractive and the red in black got a very nice look....
too good use of the theme "keep it alive"

First, praise: I really like this game! It's simple, yet very fun to play and try to get a high score. The slow introduction of more obstacles (and powerups? I don't know what those white circle things do), and the ramping up of difficulty works really well. The graphics are pleasant (not super amazing, but they do look pretty nice).

Now, I'm a bit of a music nerd, so I have a couple of quick suggestions on that. You drum beat was actually really good, I liked that a lot, but the melody over it didn't ever quite land. I think a bit more resolution is needed in the song (and maybe some more melodic phrases). The song is pretty decent, but I think a few small tweaks here and there could've elevated it to the next level easily (specifically, the loop point of the song feels very forced, so you could either extend the song or modify the end of it to loop better).

Overall, a very fun game, well done!

@theyellowgreninja the white things actually are kinda bugged but they are supposed to spawn fire that prevents you from going there for a certain period of time. And I didn't really have enough time, so I couldn't expand upon the music

Jesus, this certainly is what it says it is - chaos! My only complaint is the blinding game-over screen with all that bloom. Fun game overall! Certainly would be nicer with some SFX too.

@mikejzx okay I will fix the bloom effect on the game over screen

Fun game that controlled nicely. I don't know if you adjusted the bloom but I was able to see the game over screen alright. It was disconcerting having the music in only one ear (I'm using headphones).

Congratulations in getting a game out in the 48 hours.

My highscore is 29! I had a good time with this game! I loved the simplicity of the pixel art and the post processing. Nothing beats pixel art mixed with post processing!

First of all, great job! I actually had a lot of fun playing this game. It is a really simple concept but I think you deliver it really well. The music adds to the chaotic nature of the game but I definitely think some SFX (as others have been saying) would add a whole lot too. I like that the game escalates to add different means of difficulty, and they arent just reskins of the same threat, they act functionally different so that is good. On the area hazard that shows up as the white circle, I think it would be good to put the exclamation mark or hazard symbol in it so the player knows something bad was going to happen there. Part of me thought maybe it would be a good thing for me (but of course I shouldve known better :D ) Awesome job though!

really cool, but in my opinion to much obstacles for beginning and too slow controls.
