In CHAD THE BABY SAVER you play as CHAD, who has to save his brothers Vlad, Brad, Lad, and George from the evil lactose intolerant kidnappers.

Use CHAD's epic milk bazooka to feed your siblings and fend of the kidnappers.

Game was made entirely within the 48 hours of the Compo, yet I did use 2 free models and a few free animations so the entry must be for the jam.

Really fun game, I loved the addition of the enemies with the shield-type objects. Very polished, nice work!

This game was a really unique experience, I liked the mecaniques, gameplay, and the humor. The only problem that it feels short but probably because I played the online version. Overall a really enjoyable experience and a very fun game!

@Afif thanks for the feedback! It should be an endless game, however I've had reports of the game stopping for some people during about the 5th round. How long did it last for you?

@afif I played the web version a few more times and I realized there was an issue with it building improperly due to the fact that I developed it for Windows. I built it again and it seems to no longer be ending early. If you wanna check it out again lmk if it still ends early, thanks!

This is a delightful concept. And basically a compo too, which is impressive! I got stuck on the first time a guy with a riot shield showed up, because they turn as fast as I could run around them. But then I realized that the strategy there is to let myself get captured and use another baby to splat 'em. I also had a good laugh when enemies wearing pool floaties showed up. Well done!

Loved the humour and had some pretty fun game play. Did get stuck at one point where my points were going up but there were no enemies.

Shooting felt good and some really interesting gameplay, particularly how the bazooka hurts enemies and helps allies, and how you control a different ally if you get kidnapped which has potential for interesting strategies. Sound and music is good too, really well done, I like it :) Only thing I'd suggest is maybe making the shooting end of the bazooka the long end, it feels like it's pointing the opposite way it's shooting.

Very funny! I liked that they could steal you too, and you could become a different baby, it was very surprising

I found it very hard to beat riot shields, so I ended up giving them a baby so they turned their backs to me haha :)

@gord10ahmet thanks for the feedback! I'm still figuring out this whole webgl thing, I've only done Windows releases before. I'll see if I can change some settings and make that an option.

@will-p darn, I thought I fixed that bug! If I may ask, around what amount of points where you at when that happened?

@jaybaus thanks for playing! I looked up bazookas online and and still confused how they work haha. I think some have the short end forward and some the long end, I guess it's how you hold them :shrug:

Fun game, the blue text in the tutorial was hard to read as I couldn't find a way to make the game full screen I found it overall a bit hard to see what was going on. Still it was fun shooting those guys, nice idea to have guys with shields too.!

Fun game and unique interpretation of the theme! At some point the lactose intolerant aliens (two of them) kept running in circles, not possible to hit them, the score kept rising and rising, I wasn't able to activate the next stage. Had that twice, the first time the loop ended for some reason.

Wow what a fun game!! I like the mechanic of using babies as respawns points. Also the baby dialogue is pretty darn funny, even though the small blue-on-gray text is kinda hard to read. The gameplay is very fun and cool and the game looks good too! Keep up the good work and good luck!! :D
