Destructive Flyer by exilegl
Fly around destroying enemies and protect the blue slime creature!
Instructions
Point with the cursor and hold left click to fly around the map. Bump into enemies to hurt them and push them away, keeping them from the center of the map where the slime creature resides. The slime creature in the center must be protected.
To buy turrets, you'll need coins - Get these by killing enemies. When you have enough, drag a turret from the selection HUD over to where you want to place it, then release the left click button.
You win once all enemies are defeated on the final wave, and lose if the slime creature's HP runs out. Score is gained by collecting coins and keeping the creature's health high.

It's really fun to bump into enemies and collect coins.
At the end there's so many particles it starts to lag :grimacing:
I think the shadows are weird.
I wasn't super into the pushing enemies mechanic, mainly because it felt like I had to do too much precision maneuvering with what felt like a fairly imprecise input. It was easy to hit enemies, but very difficult to swing around them and hit them in the right direction. More often than not I just pushed them into the slime. I wonder if the mechanic would work better with directional inputs rather than the mouse.
I couldn't really tell where the bullets were and ended up just ignoring the patterns rather than learning the different tower patterns.
I really liked the music and the way the sound effects worked alongside it!
I really like the music and the sound effect. They added a lot to the experience
Only thing I had a problem with was that once I placed too many double orb turrets, the particles became a little bit too distracting for me.
But I think that overall this is a great game, and the concept is really neat, good job.
