TamagotchIT by spyranteros

TamagotchIT is an endless reflex game. Your beloved Pennywise the Clown will ask you for his balloon, a kid or even his favourite sewer, so make sure you give him what he asks for!
I took the theme too literally, so you have to keep IT alive!
How To Play: When you see the cloud above Pennywise's head, click the correct button. That's all!
Ludum Dare 46 is my first attempt to make my very own solo project. I tried coding for the first time. Even though Audio is my field, I wanted to dare and experiment, so I focused on everything but audio! Please, any comments, suggestions and criticism are more than welcome! I know my game is very simple but I'm very proud I managed to make it from scratch!

It is nice someone else embodied this idea for the game.
Best regards!
I would suggest just some kind of difficulty progression, like, for every 10 points the game gets a little sped up. I think it would make it even better! Got 123 points!

Improvements to be made:
1) Increase difficulty every, let's say, 5 points (this will also speed up the sound effect during the thinking phase so the player will eventually know it get's harder.
2) As @brendev suggested, some pseudorandom generation would really update the experience (flashback to the time I tried to test the spawn of the balloon and wouldn't get one when I needed it)
3) Maybe give a life eventually? Dunno.
4)Something that even I find frustrating is the fact that you can click the buttons during the game over instantly, as a result you may lose your score if you press a button too late since the game will restart. I'm thinking of adding 3 seconds cool down before making the buttons active.
P.S. All the balancing was made using a mouse, I later tested it with my phone and my graphic tablet and it was easier and more fun!
The pixel art is well executed and the GUI and gameplay is straightforward and easy to comprehend.
You didn't see too big for your project and that's a great achievment for a first solo jam !
I would have added a music background like 8bit melody but for a first attempt at a whole project, this really is a bright result !
1) The game now has a menu.
2) It can track high score.
3) There is a 3 second countdown at the game over screen so you won't accidentally press a button a restart.
4) I made a healing feature which gives an extra life every 10 rounds.
5) The game now becomes harder every 5 rounds instead of every round and Pennywise walks faster the harder it gets.
6) I have decreased the waiting time and balanced the difficulty more so the game will be more enjoyable.
7) Also, the game now uses PCG32 pseudorandom generator instead of the standard randomize feature.
8) I have made an android build since I believe it is pretty fun with a touch screen.
9) Last but not least, you can use A, S, D or arrow left, down, right to press the buttons.
If you have any other suggestions for the new version let me know! Cause improving what is already there is an awesome training for my nooby coding!
