Instructions: Meteors are slowing hurtling towards the Earth, and they're headed straight for dino egg nests! You have 7 eggs to keep safe - if you lose 3 eggs, dinomanity is doomed and you lose the game! (The top right shows you have many eggs you have remaining.) Also, be careful of lava - three burns and you're out! Fortunately, you have X-ray vision to help you out: nests that are yellow have an egg in and nests that are blue are unoccupied. Use this to help spot which eggs are in danger and quickly move them to another nest. Survive until the meteor onslaught is over and save enough eggs to ensure the survival of the species.

It was fun to play, but I felt that the map maybe was a bit too high (the 'mountain' in the middle) and the game a tiny bit too hard, but the indicators on where a meteor will hit were really useful. Since you made it with Unity you should try to make a HTML build, a lot more people will probably play your game then.

Thanks JOrbits! I've added a HTML build now.

Very fun little games ! Maybe improve the map scale(some "block" are too high)

Its very enjoyable to play and the tension towards the end can be pretty thrilling, only issue I really have with it is the map, it isn't bad per-say but the egg at the top is basically unreachable sometimes and the map can be pretty hard to move around in at certain points. Other than that though i thoroughly enjoyed playing!

First person platforming is hard to pull off, so kudos for trying it. It works decently, although there are a few collision problems which makes you stuck at a few places. Still, good effort.

I had to retry this a few times but I MADE IT! I saved the dinos eggs! I think the map could deserve some adjustments but it was far from being unplayable even if, yes, the egg on the top is kinda tricky to get. I usually made my way to the top, took the egg and placed it on a lower empty slot :).

I gave up on many games during the testing I've done (me giving up doesn't mean I put bad notes btw)but I've managed to find courage to finish your game!

This game was pretty fun, but the glide wasn't very effective.

Nice job. I haven't played many first person 3d games for the jam so that was cool. The movement felt good.

I was a little confused about what I was supposed to do. I saw the meteors, I saw the eggs, I collected some eggs, and I even placed some eggs, but I was mostly frustrated because I couldn't find places to put the eggs once I had picked them up. Just for the sake anchoring the player I think it might have been nice to have a box or something near the starting point to bring the eggs to or maybe multiple boxes for saving the eggs that were very clearly marked and visible from the starting position.

Overall fun game. I liked the music, the movement, and the 3d. Well done!

That was an fun and hectic little experience! Only real complaint is a couple of areas with weird geometry that were frustrating to get past (I got stuck under an egg in a pit at one point), but overall effective and fun.

This game was really fun to play and had a surprising amount of depth but there were some glitches with the platforming.

Nice job! I don't play a lot of first person games in Ludum Dare, but I think you did a good job! The movement feels pretty smooth and the air vents were a nice way to traverse the map. It was a little tough to climb the uneven terrain, but all-in-all I had a good time! Good job!

Hey there! Very very cool concept with the sliding aka flying (I didn't get that's what you meant at first haha) To be honest at first I dodn't figure it out and thought it was hard before I realized I could fly which was supercool (I thought sliding as in, idk slide under something)
The gameplay felt really cool! You could maybe make quick wings, animate them a bit and put them in front of the cam that the player realizes ohh okay I'm a flying badass and I can do that, plus it would add to the coolness :)

Good job on finishing your game!

I love the sliding feature. It felt very smooth and satisfying. There are not many similar games like this (3D platformer) in this jam, so I really appreciated this one. The graphics is very nice overall, i would just point out the **GUI** in this game.

But overall very good game.

I have no idea what "kills" eggs at this point honestly. I moved an egg from one spot to another, and moments later I lost the game, while staring at the unharmed egg. There seems to be a number of unexplained mechanics here; perhaps updating the description might help.

For the rest of it; movement felt solid for an FPS game, graphics were simple but reasonable; though the mixture of soft terrain and voxel structures is an interesting choice. Particles appeared to bleed through the world but this actually made it easier to find things; possibly a compromise for that reason but a map of some kind might have been preferable.

Overall a solid entry.

It was a nice little game but I was little unclear what the red lines meant at first. Once I saw the asteroid hurdling at the eggs it all started to make sense. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the clashing environment, super voxely to smooth. The controls did feel pretty responsive overall tho! The jumping sound was also really cute

good game, but some eggs too high to get them!

Solid game! Actually took me a little while to figure out what was going on – that I needed to grab eggs from yellow spots and move them to blue spots where meteors weren't going. A little more of a tutorial would have helped there. As soon as I understood the rules it was easy, and was quite fun at the end when there were a ton of meteors at once.

I think your choice to put eggs inside little lava pits is a bit weird – I kept burning myself just trying to get it to grab the egg, felt like a cheap way to get damaged.

Really fun game, only too hard. I could win finally but it depended much on luck. It took some time to understand what's going on. As others said, it's a huge map and not all slots are evenly easy to access. However it was innovative and maybe the best on the theme what I've played so far! Well done!
