A nice game for a first game jam!

The gameplay is the best thing about this, the game controls well and the goal is simple and clear!

The art is fine, it could be improved a little bit but it is alright!

The topdown view and shooting reminds me a bit of hotline miami uwu

Some background music could have been added to make it better uwu

(And the credit button text is offcentered)

Overall: the game is really fun and playable, which is already a big achievement for a first game jam!

Best game I've played in the jam. Small problems with getting the VIP through doors, but the idea and execution are almost perfect. Needs a bit of polish here and there, but... great game.

Getting the VIP through doors was annoying. Other then that, good game. I didn't play all the way through, but for what I did play there wasn't any reason not to kill everyone and then go back for the VIP, making the part where you move him around kind of pointless since you already won.

Honestly quite good. It's a compelling and immediately understandable take on the theme. The bouncing bullets were quite fun. The game was pretty easy, and the approach to each level was pretty similar - shoot the mostly-static guards and then collect the VIP. Giving the player fewer bullets (even fewer bullets than there are enemies) could add an interesting puzzle element.

This was a really good take on the theme, and your interesting twist was fantastic! Using a bouncing bullet was very innovative and made the game a lot more about problem solving than just standard shooting your way out. It was easy to grasp, and I really appreciated the tutorial. A couple things to improve on. It was very useful having a little arrow showing which way to go during the tutorial, and I felt something similar should have been included in the main levels just to mark the exit even if it's just a different coloured set of stairs. The VIP needs some more work; making them move like a bouncing bullet seemed a little weird, and made it very difficult to point them in the right direction when making them move somewhere. Due to the distance that they would follow the player, it also sometimes made it seem like they weren't following at all. Because of the irregularity of the VIP movement I did have to give up eventually as at one point I just could not get them to move through a door. Having a greater variety of enemies would also make the game more interesting, as it was fairly static and easy to get through. Overall a great idea and a fun little game

This is a good entry with a good amount of content.

I think it's too easy though, you could make the bullets bounce only 2-3 times and reduce the amount of ammunition.

Good job overall :)

You say it's "one of the worst games" you've made, but the idea is clever and your game is simple to pick up (albeit a little easy).
