Hey, pretty cool game! I digged the puzzle part of the researcher game mode.
It is kind of cool how you integrated the surrounding setting even though as I played longer it felt as if a simpler user interface would have been better. Maybe you could do a more detailed menu and for the game zoom in to just the table? Sorry if that sounds confusing!
All in all a fun game and solid jam entry! Keep it on!

There's a lot of good things about this game. I like the fact I could change the music on the jukebox, I like how there were two modes included that felt pretty accurate to their names and both equally fun, I like that the plants were well distinguished between the different variations. Felt very polished and like a lot of thought went into this.

The researcher mode was fun enough, but the caretaker mode had a very Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes vibe to it that made me partial to it. Anywho, stellar entry.

Nice job! It took me a while to figure out that the white square meant correct. I liked that there were two modes and both were fun. Also a good idea to be able to change the music like that.

This is awesome and I spent ages playing it! It took me a bit to figure out how to play, but I eventually worked it out and came up with a good strategy and managed to beat Researcher mode in 8 days. Researcher mode was definitely my favourite.

The music was great and the funny messages on the screen in the top-right were a nice touch :)

Such a nice idea for a game! It really using my brain a bit, The mechanics are well implemented. And also nice musics man!

Very cool game! One of the ones I liked the most from what I've rated so far (unfortunately haven't rated too too many) but very cool with the researcher/caretaker - would've been cool if it was more interactive between them not just hard one or the other, and to get back to main menu. If there was a way back, whoops I missed it! Other than that, solid. I'm not good at puzzle mechanics so hard to say but seems like it has everything you need in one, didn't play it long enough to tell if info you gain in first mode influences second mode, but if that's the case, then it nails it, and if not, you made two games which is twice as good as one lol :P

The two game modes are a great choice - one of the big challenges with Ludum Dare is finding a good way for folks to see as much of your game as possible, and you accomplished that very well.

I loved doing the plant researcher, the concept is so cool, and using the journal to identify wich part needed wich element was very fun !
