Lets wrangle some slimes! Draw loops around the slimes to capture them. Look out! Some slimes are a bit feisty!SW1.PNGSw2.PNG

Aha I like slimes, I had made games about slimes.

I like the slime graphics. The chains were a bit frustrating at times. Trying to close a loop and hitting near the end and having it shatter was frustrating as the game encourages fast play. However I chalk that up to jam limits. The core concept was strong. The gameplay loop was short, challenging, and had some unique challenges.

Interesting concept! I thought it was a little too difficult to complete the loops successfully.

Hard game but it felt good on the mechanic. You take the theme as mechanic and that is really appreciable. It remembered me the OSU game.

very fun! maybe my fav game I've played so far from this compo. I like the mix of speed and strategy, and constant introduction of new mechanics. I couldn't beat the meta-slime though, that level is hard :(

obviously loads of the graphics are a bit jank, but I suppose you know that :)

@indivicivet Thanks for playing! jank graphics is the peak of my pixel art skills right now haha

This was kind of a crazy game. I made it as far Prime Slime Time and it was challenging but it didn't feel totally unfair. I think this game showed great level design and I really enjoyed it for that reason. I hope you keep it up. Good job!

Simple mechanic well explored! Had a lot of fun playing it! (even with the red slime being really annoying xD) Well done!

Really nice game! It was very fun - even though it was rather hard at first, I eventually managed to finish it. There were a few bugs - sometimes I lost two lines from a single loop, and it seemed like the correct strategy in every Yellow Slime level (including the boss) was to simply loop everything outside the slime area - but other than that, it was great!

Pretty hard sometimes, since often times I would make a loop and it would make that sound, but the slime wouldn't disappear, so I had to do it multiple times. Couldn't make it to the end, but the gameplay is good. Good work! BTW, this game works in Linux with Wine.

Great idea. It's challenging to capture all the slimes. I can see it as a cool mobile game. It is worth further development. Nicely done!

Challenging puzzler, can see lots of potential here. Wish the loop completion was a little more forgiving: the snap region on closing the ends is really small, so about 75% of the time I either missed or broke the chain. Maybe it shouldn't count as a chain cross if you come in from the "outside" of the loop? Nice entry!

This game is crazy tough. I made it to level nine before I gave up. Drawing circles without crossing the line quickly enough to not get hit is something that's just too hard for me to pull of. I like the Pokemon Ranger influence, though, nice job.

Fun idea. I enjoyed playing this one. It is rather tough and I feel like it is one i could spend some time trying to master without getting bored. The circle drawing mechanic would be really fun on a touchscreen if you ever think of doing it as a mobile game.

Simple concept, but very efficient ! I like how the different slimes and their combinations gives a lot of mechanical depth to the game !

Simple concept but there was some fun stuff there. I liked the little touches like the trail behind the slimes as they moved around and the different sections of the lines.

Art was simple, but worked well. I would recommend scaling down the instructions at the top and bottom of the screen to give the game more playable area and stop the slimes from traveling behind the GUI elements. IT felt weird to draw the lines behind the text boxes :)

I did notice that there were times when I would draw a line around the slime and it would count it, but then the slime would hit it at the same time. So it played both the "complete" and "break" sound effect. You would hurt the slime but lose two lines. It didn't happen all the time, but it did happen enough that I lost more than one level because of it.

Nice work!

Very nice Idea, pretty challenging!
I think a few more easy levels would help to ease the player in.
But it was a very nice idea and execution :D
