Install instructions

I really enjoyed this, simple in idea, but there is a lot of space to expand the concept. Very well done!

I loved this game! Super fun and I liked replaying it trying to beat it with fewer clones each time!

this was awesome. would love to see old clones that you "rescue" in later loops still keep shooting, maybe wherever they last shot before dying.

what a cool concept. this could make for a fantastic puzzle game. well done!

This was pretty awesome. At first I thought I was getting a buddy to help me each time I died and then realized it was a replay of my previous attempt. Very innovative and fun. Thanks for the submission.

Thank you for the feedback @citdev-chris @comari and @michaelha !

Yeah, right now the clones only fire when they did in the recorded life, but that would definitely be an interesting idea that you could "save" the clones beyond their original life, at least to some degree. I'll keep the idea in mind if I get around to making a post-jam version some day!

Pretty cool concept. As others stated, it would be interesting if past lives would keep shooting, if they don't die in the new run.

Hey this is really fun! I'm in love with the idea. The glow is a really nice look.

I think more sounds and a background music will largely improve the game feel. I hear a strange faint sound in the background, I don't know if thats supposed to be the music but it doesn't sound like music nor does it match the game.

An explosion of particles and a camera shake when one of your characters dies would be cool. Also, I don't like how the player can get stuck on the sides of walls and platforms. It should just slide off.

Interesting concept. Loved the particle effects. Main points of feedback: character shouldn't stick to walls/platforms, the jump seemed like it would glitch and go a lot higher than intended sometimes, and make the main player a different color from the clones so it is easier to identify which character you're controlling.

I had a lot of fun playing! The game mechanics and goal become instantly understandable without reading any instructions. Very clearly laid out. I was surprised (and jealous) at the path finding of the enemy.

@frances @thebooksnail Thanks for the feedback! As this was a Jam entry and not a Compo entry, I used the [A* Pathfinding project by Aron Granberg](https://arongranberg.com/astar/) for the pathfinding. It was super easy to implement in Unity.

I really enjoyed this one! Played through it twice. It almost felt like a tower defense game, I could see this growing into something really really cool. Cheers!

luv ur system of making clone that repeat a previous actions i think that such a cool and unique idea how did that. As a vfx designer i luv seeing bloom in anything so this game it a lot of my weakness 10/10.

This game has lots of potential. I think more levels and maybe even upgrades would make this game really neat. The level design and movement was good for juking out the enemies. The graphics are basic but cool. The idea is pretty innovative.

Here's a bug I found though:
![bug.png](///raw/01e/62/z/3a018.png)

The enemies didn't want to go inside this box.

@melhem-fares Thanks for the feedback! That is quite interesting, I'll have to check the pathfinding navigation mesh. Thanks for letting me know about the bug and sending the screenshot!

Really cool idea! My best strategy was to go left and have a few me's shooting at all the enemies as they slowly approach. I would love some different weapons or a couple levels with varying enemy spawns so the player has to plan out their routes more, but the game is great as it is! Also love the neon glow effect. Nice work!
