I have never had so much fun failing at a game over and over game before in my entire life. Well done

I'm not a big fan of games where you just have to get past with perseverance and just memorizing something, which seems to be the case here. I think the concept overall is pretty well executed, the graphics and presentation are really solid, and for a game jam game, this is really impressive. I'm just not a big fan of the mechanics.

I like the game. Although i feel that the animations could be better, since it currently feels like its turn based, or maybe its my dumb brain. Also, the flames appearing when there's only one block feels very unfair, and repeating the same easy segments feels a bit boring. Fantastic sound effects tho!

fun concept! i tried quite a few times before it got to a point where i was dreading doing the same walking pattern for 30 seconds again.

Liked the design.
Something about the music starting over again at each loop, my brain couldn't handle it ^^.
I had to turn down the volume after some time...
Still had fun trying to beat this game. Nice work.

nice pixelart style, and the game is quite hard, and sometimes you have to fail to know what to do

Cool idea, but don't like that you need to die and memorizing the patterns.

I liked the idea, art, music a lot but game is a bit overly-punishing for my taste. I would like to have an ability to leap into previous loop which is awarded to the player every 5 loops or so. Thanks for a fun experience!

I liked the idea of repeating through the loop and learning a little bit each time. The art and audio were good too. I wish there was a short warning before tiles disappear in some of the attack patterns though. I think it should also take less time to restart the level when you die, because waiting for the door to open and going through it starts to feel repetitive after multiple attempts. Overall I enjoyed it besides a few nitpicks.

I guess the lack of signaling of the attacks is sort of the point, because of theme of the loop, so you have no choice but to die and retry over and over. The main character says my main criticism a few loops in "This gets old fast", having to repeat the same attacks over and over. Maybe each death just sending the player 2 attacks backwards would make it somewhat less repetitive?
The boss fight atmosphere was well captured. I wonder if this was based on sans fight? Just basing that guess off of skull with flamy blue eye and repeating attacks in a loop.
