UnderLoop by FadrikAlexander

Dive into a new adventure to the looping underworld where something cursed is taking place, will you find your lost grandpa or you'll get lost too.
Armed by your note book and your brain The Under World react to your movement so choose four Torches Wisely up or down to move. and make sure to map your way through its chambers and secrets .
Meet unique Characters,

and Most Importantly, DON'T GET LOST!!!

The controls are simple
- AD/left and right Arrow keys to Move
- Space/W/Up Arrow to Jump
- E/Shift/Enter to Interact
The Game was made with a Collab between me @FadrikAlexander as a Coder and my sister @KatreenAshy as an Artist.
Tips and Trick: [Spoilers] only see them if you're stuck or wish to continue the story
- Open the safe code by modifying the code by how you got into that room if the first torch is up add one to the first number or if it's down minus one to the first number, and so on for all of them.
- Each room has one way to get there and can be used again to arrive at the same room, so when you find something interesting, write what candles you've lighted to reach there again.
- Check your bag to see what Items are you missing.

I like the concept, smart way to make a long game with relatively few assets.
Obviously, graphics and overall mood are nice, but I liked the take on the mechanic quite a lot.
Simple, elegant quest giving that Choose Your Own Adventure feeling.
Great job!
The sprites and most sounds are fitting (damn that green snail!), but the movement feels off somehow.
Unfortunately, I once clicked the "Back to Main Menu" button in the backpack while absentmindedly thinking it was the "Back to Game" button :D. I didn't lose too much progress though.
I really liked how the background music added to the mood of being stuck in a labyrinth.
The ending feels like this game is a prologue to something greater.
It was a bit confusing for me to understand. I was personally not a fan of the Super Mario puzzle xD.
Game itself is quite good and well made.
@tefatika Thanks for pointing out the bug, when you pressed the item bag the game pauses and then go to the main menu and when we start again it stays paused which causing the freeze hhhh what a funny bug, I'm uploading a fix right now.
@unhandyred I agree with you about the music for the background music it's free from 'freemusicarchive', but I did some SFXs and also the audio manipulation on them and the background music to fit the game all adds up to the full music experience since I did all the work on it I considered leaving it.
Could use some built-in map-making tool, especially if you decide to make game bigger and add some conditional transitions (e.g. Up-Down-Up-Down leads to romm 7, but from roon 5 it leads to secret room)
Nice graphics and music, potential for a great story.
No bugs, a bit umcomfortable jumping.
Gives the "A-ha!"-feeling when you get it how it works.
Good job!
I really liked that the controls were explained to you but you had to find out how the core mechanics worked.
Maybe you could notify the player that he has found everything he needs. I somehow missed it and spent some time searching for rooms I had not yet visited until I finally realized that I already had all the items.
Also I accidentally pressed back to menu once and had to start all over again. Maybe there should be a dialog box to confirm this.
The graphics were absolutely amazing and the music was great. The jump sound got a bit annoying after a while. I really appreciated that you created a tutorial. This made playing and rating your game a much more enjoyable experience!
I am really glad that I found your game and decided to try it out!
It would also be really cool if you also tried out our game :)

Thanks for playing and for the Feedback <3
@kolocop Thanks for playing, yeah the character movement gave me some trouble, the thing was if I lowered the jump power the player will not have the annoying ceiling head pump but in exchange, he'll not be able to jump from down all the way up, so I had to settle for this, do you have any recommendations?
@jatdev Thanks for playing <3 the movement as I said in the comment above you and that Bug has already got patched.
@tigerija Thanks for playing and for the Feedback, You're the first one to guess where the main mechanic came from hhhhh nice job I always loved it and wanted to make a game on so this jam was perfect for it.
@areywarlord Thanks for playing and for the Feedback, and yes it's not a sole puzzle game more of an exploration/adventure type of game. and really thanks for the suggestions I'll keep them in mind for sure.
@cambryx Thanks for playing and for the in-depth comment, and It so good to see that something you thought about in the design of the game worked hhhh.
@radgegames Thanks for playing, I tested the games a lot and fixed all the tearing but maybe I've missed some, I saw the pixel-perfect camera added to the scene and then removed it I don't know why I never used it before so I didn't want to risk it, but I'll give it a try now, thanks for the suggestion
we also did pixelart with platform motive but its waaaay other
The game looks rather pretty, the music is great and the mood is perfect. Gameplay is a bit confusing but figuring it out is part of the fun.
Nice game, cool idea with some really nice graphics and mood!
@nsadie @dk5000p Thanks for playing!
