This is a bloody top-down action shooter, play as the only colonist left on a giant spaceship attacked by dangerous and clever virus. Everyone is controlled by the head spiders, army of zombies trying to infect you! Giant biomass of brains and tentacles in the reactor compartment and no help within a radius of hundreds of light years! Head spider is sitting on your head destroying your brain every 60 seconds, you are stuck in a loop of dying and cloning your body to move forward... will you make that to the end?

You should be proud of your game)
Congrats!
Only you can hit (punch/kick) or be hit through walls if you are close enough, guess it is a bug.
Overall, great job! I finished the game and may even play it again!
i think the life timer mechanic doesn't fit particularly well with the way the game currently plays; just halting the game while you walk back to where you were.
I do think it has some potential though as on occasion it can have you gunning for the next respawn point, which shakes things up a little. I imagine it'd be hard to not make frustrating, but more expansion into the mechanic could push it more towards that frantic hotline miami fun.
great work to everyone on the team!
Feel free to ignore most of the things I point out due to jam scope, etc, but I’m giving feedback assumming you would keep working in the game. The rating I gave was with the jam context in mind though.
What I think could be improved:
The save stations NEEEEEED a confirmation sound, there were quite a few times I tought I had saved on a plataform only to die and respawn way back
I also missed a button to kill myself. There were times I had to wait for my timer to run out because I would not have enough time to enter a new room
Sometimes the furniture would stand in the way, maybe let us break the stuff for even more chaos!
The key cards were a little hard to see, it would be cool to have an arrow pointing at them while they are on the screen or something
What I loved:
Daaaayum the game is almost feature complete! A few more levels and it would be near shipping status, fantastic job!
The Hotline Miami style blended perfectly with the sci fi vibe
The level you guys made was pretty good, great design!
If my comment was helpful, don’t forget to like it! … and if you can, open my profile page and leave feedback on our game as well <3
Thanks for the experience you provided with your game!
@ryusui I absolutely agree with you, "PRESS R" is something really important I missed, and spawn indication too, I just forgot to add them, but I'm not going to add them since the jam has already ended and I was making this game as a part of competition to have fun, so my opinion is that EVERYTHING in the game should have been made in limited time and not changed later, because you could always make super polished game just if you want, and LD was something that limits this, that's why I love it) so yea sorry, my mistake should live there.
I think movement could be improved to feel better, the acceleration felt off somehow so I kept bumping into objects. Some more audio feedback would be useful, such as when you save your body or run low on ammo.
I thought the use of theme was very clever. Dying every 60 seconds didn't bother me, it was a clever tension to be careful of your progress and deciding when to bank your upgrades. The save stations were possibly too common, so I could constantly save after every fight. Spreading them out more would've created some interesting strategic decisions of pushing forward to save or being cautious and backing up.
The level design was excellent too, especially after keycard 3. Really good crescendo of enemies and firepower. Only wish there was a big boss battle at the end, but I understand the time constraints.
Overall an excellent entry and super fun experience.
Oh, and the ***music is awesome***, I loove it :3
