Please Just Leave by Noam Blei
The Narrator wants Boby to leave his place. Boby, on the other hand...
Use WASD to move, and SPACE to interact.
This game needs to be played with volume turned on (in order to listen to the narrator)
I would have loved to make this game longer, but I didn't calculate well the times (this is my first game and first time participating in a gamejam). Also I'm aware it has some bugs, I'm planning to fix them and add more features to the game after the jam ends!
I hope you have a good time playing it :D.
if you want to see more animations of the game (some correction or newones that will be added when the jam ends), you can go to -> https://ldjam.com/users/noam-blei/feed

I think I found a few bugs:
-You can walk off screen to the left at the beginning before you're supposed to, and after the camera pans left you can walk off screen to the right.
-I entered the door on the far left before the narrator finished a sentence and two voice lines overlapped.
I liked it! In my humble opinion, it's very important in game jams to throw out the ideas you can't implement on time and cobble together a complete experience out of what's left by the deadline. You did that perfectly, especially for your first jam. Good job!
Then when the narrator started talking and telling me what to do I knew I was in for a good time. A well realised concept, making a little go a long way, which is what good game design (and jam technique) is about! Thanks!
There was bug though where if you tried to leave in rapid succession the voice tracks overlapped and the game finishes before the voice tracks are finished. But aside from that very cool idea and good implementation.
Keep it up!
Great job, *specially* for your first game! Hoping to always play your games in future jams!
I had a blast!
Never gonna say goodbye
Me: literally look on my left.. in my real room.
This is a nice use of the game medium and the theme to tell an absurd story.
I found that the timer was a very good idea to even more question what you are still doing here as a player.
I can't say I had fun but this was a really cool idea, great job 💕
Also, the first camera being so close creeped me out, combined with the walk sound.
It's nice that you give a hint to avoid someone get stuck, but it may appear a bit after, I didn't even have the time to "explore". You could also just add something extra that makes me think to go to the left.
It was also fun that in the end I could still move behind the wall and hearing the footstep, it was like the red thing was already there and not gone, trolling him even more!
Fun game =) It lasted long enough for me, more would have probably been too much!
