A simple, but pretty game which definitely fits the theme well! The gameplay was straightforward, but ended up actually being pretty tough occasionally, especially when arrows were coming in from both sides. Good thing there was a shield powerup!

The graphics were without a doubt my favorite part of the game, and the category I think you did best in. The pretty background and detailed castle in the distance, along with the occasional floating particle, really helps bring the scene alive. I also thought the player characters were well-designed, and I agree with niklasriewald that character selection was a nice addition. Overall, the game had gameplay that was easy to understand, very pretty art and was pretty fun to play! Nice job!

Great looking game. Being able to pick your character is always awesome. I also have to say that when you block a hard group of arrows it makes you feel like a proper badass. My best score is 30 - even though the game is simple, it's really hard!

Neat pixel art graphic. Gameplay is simple but effective. It lacks of some polish that could have lifted up the overall feel, like bit of screen shacking on arrow's impact, more lighting (the overall scene is quite dark, I can barely read the text), the user interface (HUD) is bit scarce. Overall nice effort

Really nice entry. The defense is intense and great to have a shield option! Great job, now I need to give it few more tries :)

Great little game, I loved that you can pick to protect a little prince or princess. Maybe I'm just bad but I found it extremely difficult, I'm glad the shield option was there!

Very hard. I wonder how much of that difficulty is because of how the screen seems to be cropped from left and right for me. It gives a bit less time to react to the arrows. The screen is cropped as much as to cut the first letters of each word in the menu screen. Not sure if that's because of the settings you had when you made the html5 build of the game or if it's because of something on my end.

Sorry, these are the page options. I could not place the game in full resolution, but it is possible to click on the full screen button or just download the file. Thanks for your feedback!

Nice game, I would focus more on adjusting speed (difficulty) to give more time at the beggining to have fun - basically game is quite hard and you fail very quickly. But overall I like it.

Good shield option and a good concept. The pixel art was quite cool. I enjoyed playing it for a bit, but the difficulty got to me quickly. Some difficulty modes would be good! I would advise you put the text on a canvas and centre it (in Unity). This means it should scale to the screen sizes. Overall, it has everything a game needs (menu, retry menu, instructions, graphics, but some audio would be good though). Just be sure to keep working on the main mechanic; if it was easier, it would be a lot better. It is still good in its current state though. Good work, keep going!

P.S. Be sure to mark the game as WebGL not Windows.

I like the concept and the art! The gameplay mechanic is simple, but it is very difficult. As others suggested, making it easier to begin with and gradually ramping up the danger level would add to the fun. Maybe also having the arrows shoot in patterns that can be recognized would help. A game like this would also give some opportunity to use positional audio cues to aid the player (hearing arrows fired from one side or the other in advance of their appearance).
