Beer Tavern by sharbelfs
Beer Tavern

The goal of the game is for you to survive and prosper.
1) You can build floors in your Tavern
2) Each floor can have a different layout with different content to be added
3) You need to build the equipment to produce the beer and hire workers
4) After that it's time to create the stand for the bar and hire people to attend and sell your beer
5) Be careful with your money management because everything that you buy has a monthly cost, and if you don't have enough money to pay your expenses, you lose
Instructions:

1) The progress bar on the left side show monthly expenses. If you don't have money to pay the expenses you lose the game.
2) Total Beer is the amount of beer produced. If there is no beer in stock, you don't make money.
3) Price of the beer. Price changes depending on the equipment you have to produce beer and the workers you have making it.
Building Bar

1) Each bar can hold a number of clients and have a maximum number of people working.
2) The green button show the price you have to pay to build it
3 ) Besides that, everything in the bar will have extra monthly expenses
Hiring People

1) The status of the barman will influence how much beer the clients will drink and how fast they drink. Besides that better barmen can fit more people at the bar
2 ) The status of the Brewer will influence the amount of beer produced as well as the price of it.

keep it up
I like how you balanced the values, it is a very calm but interesting pace.
I wonder if the game could improve from having more differentiated choices, after a while I felt like picking the same decisions over and over.
Great job!
As a feedback I can say that I really liked the music and overall vibe. It is really chill game and as someone mentioned before I would play it on phone.
Solid entry ;)
You were able to create quite a bit of content in a short time. The vertical layout was cool, though it was just a bit too tall for my browser window so I had to scroll the window up and down and I can't seem to fullscreen it.
The character animations were also cute.
@kiln yeah, I thought about that game during the development, and for the art, this is the first time I tried to draw all the art for a game, so, I tried to keep simple, but also, having some nice animations.
@d1str4kt0r I tried to balance some of the stuff, I have a google spreadsheet with a whole bunch of numbers, one tip maybe would be for you to try either hire more expensive staff, they improve the speed and amount of money you make
The highlight of this game was watching a little meeple come in and get toasty for the first time.
I'm not patient enough to play out whether or not there is a viable path to multiple-story brewhouses, but the ones that I did have shutdown within 3 months or less were a regular "brewhaha" while we were open. I thought the soundtrack was gonna mess me up but I have to say - it fits, and it gets inside after a bit, but it still felt a bit loud, just like a real bar..
On the negatives, the text is a bit small and dense (but you had a great hierarchy of info in the purchase menu which totally makes up for that!). The purchase menu itself could have been a bit bigger. The theme connection is a bit too loose.
Raising my glass to the only alcoholic business venture game I've come across this jam!
@greebs the idea of the background sound is to have something not that loud like a bar, more like something to cheer you up, I'm terrible in checking sound volumes =/. And for the texts, on one side I would like to have more time to improve the layout and content, I feel that everything is still a little confusing, there is a lot extra stuff going on and I'm not really passing all that information. I just kind of got with the first layout I created.
Thank you for all the helpful feedback guys =)
Seriously love the mood in this one :)
@spiralhalo the attributes depending on the amount and the color. yellow = 1, green = 2, but also, the name (which of a later implementation), so, System is better than Equipment, but I didn't have time to tell that anywhere.
