Growing Room by TheH

[raw]
made by TheH for LD34 (JAM)
* You wake up in a small room. On your right, you notice a screen flashing an urgent warning, a meter just about empty. You see a button in the middle of the room with a sign over it saying "GROW!". To your left, you notice a window. Outside the window is a massive stalk with a bulb at the top.

Looks like your mission is clear, grow the plant, or die of starvation!

Controls:

move with the arrow keys or wasd
jump with Spacebar
push buttons with the control key

controls can also be modified via the launcher

Please note, this game was created in around 48 hours of work, as I had other matters to attend to, besides this jam.

Music was done by the awesome SkitchMusic!

programming and art is done by yours truly (also goes by Jay Dude)

design was a joint effort between myself and skitch.

Ported to OSX. there is no guarantee that this version will work, as this was compiled on a windows system, and I can't test it on a mac, so leave a comment if you've played on mac and can verify that it works!

The graphics are pretty nice and I liked the concept for this game! :)

Every time the "cables" break out I die and I don't know what to do, but I liked the idea and will keep playing 'til I get past! :P

The soundtrack is also really good!
