3-Eyes by Rialgar
Protect 3-Eyes from the One-Eyed Menace while also keeping it well-fed.
This game is fully implemented using html5 + javascript. Any modern browser should be able to run it, but I only tested in Google Chrome.
IF YOU OBSERVE A SLOW BROWSER AFTER A COUPLE ROUNDS, REFRESH THE TAB, THERE IS A MEMORY LEAK
I am pretty happy with this one, I purposefully made all the graphics using the html canvas with no pre-drawn images, but I still achieved a pretty good result. This allowed me to easily modify the graphics to react dynamically to stuff. I used almost the entire second day to add pzazz and really enjoy the results.

I would definitely be interested in seeing this concept expanded upon. Bonus points for apparent controller support!
Edit: Just reading now that you made all the graphics using canvas calls! No wonder it felt so dynamic; that's super impressive.
Edit edit: I am for real still playing this. Super engaging. The boss explosion is heckin glorious.
On the other hand, it was a bit too difficult for me. I had trouble killing all the enemies fast enough sometimes. I got the boss down to 10-20% multiple times, but never beat it. I'm curious to know if there is more after the boss, or does the game end? Also, after playing about 10 games or so in a row, my browser (Firefox) seemed to slow down to a crawl, which doesn't normally happen when playing HTML5 games, so there might be some issue there with memory not being freed up over time.
@stanleygray sorry about the difficulty. I know the boss is hard but decided to leave it to make it even more satisfying when it explodes. No idea if it is possible with gamepad (not for me), but with mouse the trick is to constantly shoot the boss and kill the small enemies by moving so that they are between you and the boss ;).
There are a couple more waves after the boss, introducing a faster enemy.
Also I think I know where the memory leak is, once someone points it out it becomes glaringly obvious. I don't think I will fix it for LD, though, since a simple refresh of the tab should clear it. I will add a note in the description. Thanks for reporting!
Responsive controls, exploasions and a stream of bullets is what I like in games, juicy.
Also since the bullets take a while to fly, that may add a perceived lag, maybe you have played a similar game with faster bullets before? Or maybe the bullets are just too slow in my game and cause an uncanny valley type of thing.
